I don't feel like being uplifted all the time. Not paid nearly enough for all I'm forced to deal with. I bust my at a$$ working there to make sure things are good to go. The only times I will ignore work related issues is when I am on break, lunch, and before I clock in. Even pick list is ignored.
I learned the hard way that going the extra mile gets you nothing but more work and UN NEEDED stress that I WILL NO LONGER deal with for ANYBODY for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. No more.
Today was a $hit-show in my dept.
I just want to be LEFT ALONE to do my work so I can clock out and go chill.

If you want to be left alone, then I suggest you get a job in Warehouse, work night crew or quit. Because in basic retail you will NEVER be left alone. EVER. Unless you are off the clock, that is the ONLY way you will be left alone.
EVEN WAREHOUSE OR nightcrew you may be bothered. And I suggest you DO NOT say you wish you be left alone if "bugged" to do something outside your duties by upper-management or supervisors. It will NOT end well for you.
In retail it is a JOB REQUIREMENT to tolerate being bugged while working and putting up with it. Welcome to retail.
