I don't see why not. If the person doesn't care to which you refer to them as. If they are wearing them as a joke then just call them "sir" and see how they react. Language is a human made thing and labels are meaningless so go for it.

No. Buttons like these can only be worn if management approved them. It isn't many. If not approved they can not be worn.
(Do we work at the same store? I think I know who you're talking about.) If we do I highly suggest using the correct politically correct language so he/she isn't offended. They are yes if you want to get technical a uniform violation.
I noticed more transgenders wearing them lately because I noticed it can be frustrating when you're called the incorrect pronoun for your gender.
I usually don't like to call people out on stuff like this but she (originally a he) she started wearing these because she got frustrated that no one could get her pronoun right. I generally don't touch things like this with a ten foot pool but thank you about time someone called the she/he out on this. Just say it's a uniform violation and some people are getting a bit uncomfortable it. I'm honestly surprised management didn't ask her to remove them a few months into wearing them.
I respect people the way I would want to be respected to a reasonable degree. I try to respect the lgbt groups to a respectful degree but lately they've been trying to make everyone overly respect them and cram their way of living onto everyone else and I think that one does go to far.

Pronouns are not something you choose. They just exist. If you're male, you can be refered to as he, him, or his. If you're female, it's she, her, or hers. Anyone who says differently is a liar. They're lying to themselves and they're lying to everyone else.

All you have to do is LOOK at someone and that will tell you if they are male or female!!
I have a few trans genders at my store try to wear them and management told them they had to take them off because they were not "approved" kroger wear. They only started wearing them because they got sick of customers quoting the wrong gender. As this is a form where anything goes (within reason) I do support lgbt groups to a degree but lately they've been cramming their life style on the world as a accept us like us who we are and that's fine and swell, but lately they've been going over bored on that. Just be who you are. yea you'll get the society that doesn't like it and some people are so set in their ways no amt of changing will convince them to change their minds over the subject view point.
