I'm still contacting the union regarding this sudden hour reduction from full time position to 1-3 shifts a week. Apparently a lot of people are reporting a severe hr reduction on other social media sties. Shi--ty reasons like this are why people are not staying with kroger long term. If I call the union and they say sorry we can't do anything well that's the kick it will take me to start job hunting. Hell I might use this extra time to get a 1 day week job and go from there. I have bills to pay kroger.

If someone is truly full time, their hours cannot be reduced.  Someone might be working full time hours, but unless they fulfill the requirement for becoming full time, they are still condsidered part time and their hours can be reduced at any time.  Your contract should have that information under scheduling of hours and promotion to full time.  Under my contract, a full time employee is guaranteed 40 hours.
