I remember I used to get coupons that said spend $50.00 get $5.00 off. Then it went to spend $60.00 get $6.00 off. It kept going up and now it's up to spend $90.00 get $9.00 off. As long as you keep meeting the quota, they're going to keep raising the amount you need to spend. If I'm going to spend $90.00, then that's okay, but I'm not going buy stuff I don't need just so I can use a coupon.

My brother works for safeway and they do the same thing. Now they have a spend $150.00 groceries and get a free turkey. Total price will not include liquid dairy, alcohol, lottery, or tobacco products and will not include the price of the turkey.
You have to spend $150.00 or more without the above products.
My brother spent over $200.00 on qualifying items. He went and grabbed THE BIGGEST turkey he could find and waltzed out the door.
Turns out, they, not you, decides how much the turkey will weigh.
