It's not the first time with this company that I've a manager toy with my schedule in such a manner. Well after it's been published, gone live, actively in current week, even to the day before -- manager decides to change it last minute. Well past the date they can modify the schedule. I'll give him a statement that's more of a warning... if he keeps doing this I will clerical error it. I'm flexible to a degree. Fail to inform me without 48 hrs advance notice and I will fight back.

I'm going to start playing stupid when my manager does this. I'm sick of it. No 48 hrs I stick to original posted schedule. Trying to fire me, nope that'll result in a lawsuit.

Why does he keep changing your schedule?  As far as I know, once you're into the new week, they can't change your schedule.  If they're shorthanded, that's not your problem.  We have five full time people in the department I work in.  That's all.  One is on vacation this week.  Of the remaining four, two have to have three days off because of the holiday.  They're under a different contract and get overtime if they work over 32 hours.  So there's three days this week where there's only two of us there all day.  Do you think I care if everything gets done?  Nope.  If necessary, management can pull help from other departments, but I'm not changing my schedule.  Neither should you.

I started sticking to the original wall posting schedule. I asked our union rep and they replied the same message: wall schedule official posting. Every time I log in the schedule says something else and it's getting a bit ridiculous at this point. My coworker said he got a few extra hours. So, I checked my schedule then found 3 hrs docked from it next week. Hell no! That is not even allowed. If they get pissy with me I'm filing a grievance. They can't steal hours from me after written, posted and live and active in that week. No, this one goes too far.
