1. Dump the DEI BS. It leads to unreliable people being hired who don't stay but several months.
2. Have a definite policy in place dealing with problem customers who threaten employees and other customers.
3. Stop hesitating calling the police when large-scale theft happens.
4. Cut loose problem managers when the same issues come up time and time again with the same person
5. Bring back the security guards at night (preferably off-duty police and not the "rent-a-cops" we used to have)
6. Hire enough people so departments can stay open at night (especially the Deli and Customer Service which many times close early due to a lack of staffing)
7. STOP spying on employees with "mystery shops"
8. Make public the reason Rodney quit-speculation does no one any good
9. Maintain the registers properly-every single register in my store (5 of them) have been down in the past 2 1/2 weeks
10. Make an incentive for people to stay after they are hired. In our store new hires are too quick to quit

11. Stop micromanaging every little task. A task that should only take 5 minutes now takes 15 to 20 due to all the unnecessary counts and scans you have to do.
12. Stop sending extra product and then say we're ordering too much.
13. Learn to communicate with each other. If you want to put something on sale, let your buyers know so they can inform the manufacturer. It happens way too often. They'll put something on sale and there won't be any product.
