I swear my iq dropped when we got our current team. Both my new coworkers behave like they never mentally evolved past middle school. They behave as such and occasionally get disciplined for middle school behavior. They lack the drive or any motivation to put them selves beyond minimum wage work despite being able to go above these jobs. They usually end up leaving jobs because they're like one write up away from being fired and one of them keeps getting into arguments with people over stupid sh't. They're not very bright either and lack the ability to perform instructions all the way through if they even bother to do a half affed job at the task.  One coworker is selfishly motivated and disappears a lot gossiping with staff then pretends like she was always there. Total bs we know you were off slacking. They barely do the job duties correctly the first time and half the time our lead is picking up after them because they can barely perform to the level the company wants. They're not disabled at all and I'm highly functioning and find this highly offensive, disrespectful and degrading. Their iq's are not very bright despite having passed high school and at least a certificate for higher learning. Beyond that they stopped learning or improving them selves after high school and just entered the work force as a slave labor wage jockey. They're pay check to paycheck due to developing poor financial habits over the years and never learning to set money aside for retirement. One of them is an alcoholic and the other a travel acholic so they're always broke. The paycheck goes out as fast as it comes in and they wonder why they're broke all the time. This team has highly made me reconsider working different employment where the conversation has shifted from say philosophy to "What's the weather like outside? and "what sports team is winning." I don't give a f'ck about any of that.
