When I first wrote #1 why rules haven t had any sleep i awhile so sounded and written like a crazy man.Might be a little crazy but to work in our type of work you have to love it and be crazy some.Another thing at why rules and way inter city are treated and looked at . When I first went t my store I caught news group checking them own sleves in and drug g m mgr just signing papers later . Been going on long time. Told unit mgr her excuse they get there to early before she comes to work to check in . Nothing done about it no write up or anything . Since then two other times agian.Nothing done.Then they had gm having person work over night and try to check in . I watched it at 4 a. m. and talking was more then checking . Also same with newspapers . Why is it most g.m heads think its not their dept and it is but no one realy cares how they are checked in . After I reported it wrong they were hollered about but I still watched cashiers check in ( lack of ) just sign hand held no counting . But even with hand held you do right check in they can change counts when they walk away so thats a crazy thing you sign something with no copy . Tryed to explain but no one cares . But money adds up onit all. Oh about trusting unit mgr and cant work for someone you cannot trust .I wanted to get in to co-mgr training back in dec when it was all over the radio and looking for co mgrs told unit mgr he said great took resume and app. Said he turned in and at same time INS got rid of bith grcery head clerk and back up same time . I wa given keys and told to open up christmas night I was new grocery mgr no treaining but said do as good job as I was doing at then back door and he would trin and not let me fail ( that was a load ) I never heard a word from zone on resume etc I even sent letter asking myself about it , they never got it . Well one day was told over phone to look in his desk for something and guess what there was my app/resume . Before I even turned it in I called all unit mgrs nd co mgrs I have worked with in 8 yrs they all said would recommend me and I would be good for company .Bottom line training and trust is no where in sight are rules followed in inter cityKroger is getting so big and cutting hours and noone following up on things people like me from old school who want to do right and care just get were its nothing in sight no more .There should be training for all and if have to be smaller groups to learn and follow up on things !!!Also this checking on stores face it they dont want to know trueth , if they did they wouldnt call and say will be checking in two days then all people from zone and other stores pop over to help you get right See that shows you rules but why use them all the time only when you can get in trouble.
Everyone says these thing but noone wants to speak out . I am checking into another company they might not have all benfits but you follow rules and you then know where you stand . No union but no big deal our union is only taking our money and losing things for us PLUS the people who mostly use them should be gone anyway.Well enough for now rules man will write again
