Are you obligated to let a customer "help you" (get in your way) of bagging their groceries? How can you tell them politely that you do not need their help without offending them? I've tried moving aside and bagging and they got offended and acted like I told them to back off. Do you have to let them "help y...

Class action filed for employees of Compton Ralph's/Food4Less employees. Working conditions and management response should seem familiar. Don't apply with this company. Don't even visit their web site.

The AC at the front end of the store hasnt worked for months and the manager has done nothing in order to have it fixed, I see people who look like theyre on the edge of heatstroke - and they wont allow anyone to wear shorts except baggers per the policy. Who do we contact if the manager will not have the Ac fix...

Aa with all schools in NC, the week of Thanksgiving, we go to school Monday and Tuesday, and are out for the rest of the week. According to the rules and regulations for minors working, we aren't allowed to work more than three hours on a school day and no more than eight on a weekend. I plan on calling my sto...

As a new hire, I was looking at my schedule and was wondering why some times were like 12pm-7:15pm. The extra fifteen minutes just seemed a little odd to me and was wondering if I would get paid for that, or if it meant something else entirely. Thanks in advance!

I found a 24 pack of beer outside when I was doing my carts. I looked around and saw no one. The case was unopened and I had about 10 min left of my shift and it was in a shopping cart (not ours) so I wheeled the cart and hid it in the back as I had plans of grabbing that case when I got off. 10 min goes by and I am headin...

All cleaning products have some sort of warning label but this one makes me wonder what the hell is this company doing? This one raises the red flag. The spray is lemon scented but after reading the warning label it is unsafe to use and the user needs to wear a full protective gear to be able to use it. The s...

Customers stop being dic-ks about the return policy then being @$$ holes and screaming at us because you can't get your way. This is getting old and highly disrespectful to the clerks. And you wonder why clerks in your local grocery have attitudes it's because of sh-it like this. I deal with b.s. all d...

OK, can we stop with the aisle 99 idiocy, and other such nonsense that makes it take longer to pick a Clicklist trolley? What idiots program these things? There is no aisle 99. What sense does it make to complain about pick times and how we need to work faster, when you are doing stupid stuff that makes...

So, today, I was asked by a manager if I wanted to work at another store because they're looking for help for their grand reopening. It's only a one day thing (Next Wednesday). I work an 8 hour shift and will do my normal job as a CC. Of course, I said that I would do it. I had no idea that getting asked that was e...

Ok, I work as a courtesy clerk and most of the day today we had no checkstand assignment sheet. So I decided to take an hour lunch from 12pm to 1pm (I work from 8:30-4:00), so i took an hour to treat myself to a nice lunch. Apparently I did 2 things "wrong:" 1. Failed to ask what time I should take my lunch 2. Too...
