So, I'm thinking about asking to work in Frozen. There's only two people that work in it, the head of course, and then my coworker will be working there sometimes too. Does frozen only have a department head? Do they not have a backup? I would love to change positions and make more money.

At what point is it appropriate is to ask for a raise? Or am I just gonna be given the runaround about how I should just work my hours, or go help another store on my nights off, or blah blah blah?

Just wondering how much waste is out there. Doesn't it show up on their books and set off red flags? Our store has tons of waste thrown out and that's just what I'm aware of. Funny thing there was a PA announcement stating Kroger has a zero waste policy haha !

I started at $7.35 :(. The reason I asked is because my friend just got hired for the deli and she'll be making 11 to 12 per hour :( but she also is attending a art institute for culinary arts. When I started Kroger I was 17 attending college but only offered 7.35 per hour (less than my seasonal job).

Idiot today thought ALL the Simple Truth items were in ONE place-he claimed he couldn't find anything. Had to explain that the items are located all over the store and it depended on what he was looking for. This is the second time I had a customer who thought these items were all in one place.
