I'm asking because I never change my it...... not just my time other workers as well. A coworker told me on the sly a manager who just got to our store did it, we had no problems before this jerk came thinking every one is available all the time...this time I'm really gone screw it!!!!

I just recently switched from Nutrition to Produce Department, and in my first week of work, my hours were cut from 40 to 16. Could this be because of training? I was promoted to a part time pricing clerk. Problem is there are 1-2 many people in the department and they said ELMS will only give me about 4-8 hours. Any way to get more?

Dear Kroger Management, I am wanting to request the following days off, for my upcoming Prom event on May 10th as well as requesting May 11th off. For my graduation day set on May 31st I will also need to have this day off as well. Hopefully we can set a schedule that fits all of us. Thank you so much!

A few years ago my fellow employees and I were made to sign an agreement that gives Kroger the right to fire us if we say anything negative about Kroger in print or online. How do we know our our rants won't be used against us?

We had what we thought was a key retailing check but instead it was G.O. instructing zone co-ordinators how to do a key retailing check. In the past if you did everything right but forgot to put a check here or miss a number there you got dinged but now G.O. is telling co-ordinators not to be such a hard ass...

Is there such a position as lead cashier at your stores? I've been with Kroger almost 3 years and we now have a young girl who they have decided to be a lead cashier. I'm not seeing that position in my union handbook - I'm in the Southwest Division.

If you are a saliered manager and go out on stress leave or disability and quit before you come back, do you have to pay back any money you collected while you were out?

Union member voting is Wednesday & Thursday in ATL metro and Thursday in Savannah, GA, & Opelika, AL. Your stores should have posted where you can vote or you can go to the ufcw1996 site to check. http://ufcw1996.org Some stores are letting people carpool on the clock to vote.
