Does anyone know if e-schedule takes seniority into account when generating a schedule? I've heard at least three answers (no, it only goes by how long you've been employed, and that it gives priority to full-timers 1st), and am not sure who to believe. Or does it differ from store to store?
I work in the produce department and this new hire is so damn lazy. He can't do anything right, so we always put him on corn duty. He even does that really slow. I hate working with him because it makes my workload harder. I've talked with the produce manager and he feels the same way. I don't think he can get...
I'm a regular poster here but choose to post anon because of I guess I'm a bit paranoid. Anyway if you're at my store you'll know who I am if you know me personally. I started as a bagger last year. A certain co-manager took immediate interest in me. He got me a cashier quicker than people hired before me....
I just found this forum & I think it's awesome. Anyhow I've worked in the meat department since high school has ended & I have a blast back there! I'm just a clerk but it's not bad at all. I see posts on here saying it's not the greatest department, which may be true but personally I love it! it's an e...
Dang we had our wrapper break last week, the hot plate that "melts" the plastic wasn't working, the hot bar that cuts the wrapping still worked so we had to seal the wrapping with the bar, it's a very tiny thing and is a pain in the neck to do. I even warned my manager before it broke that it seemed...
Is the schedule that's posted on eSchedule always as accurate at the schedule posted in store? I checked the schedule posted in the breakroom on Thursday and it said that I work 1:30-10 tomorrow, but then I checked eSchedule tonight and that says I work 4:45-10 tomorrow. The rest of my schedule on eSch...
I have been invited to interview for a position as a Pharmacy Tech. What are some of the pros and cons of working for a Kroger Pharmacy. What are some the benefits and the starting pay rate?
"I was told to do this, I was told to do that, this manager doesn't like me"... Etc, etc. Your career is what you make of it. If you complain and question everything that your superiors tell you to do then you will get nowhere in the real world. I don't care if what my boss tells me to do is retard...
So we recently had to take the associate OSAT survey. Last year my store got dead last in our zone. So when our managers their butt chewing over this, they told the zone manager we didn't understand the definitions. Such as we didn't understand what was mean by direct supervisor, management team, e...
Hi all- I have been out of the work force for about 20 years raising my kids. I am thinking of going to work at Kroger for some extra spending money. I can only work days - preferrably early mornings beginning at 7:15ish after my son leaves for school. I cannot work nights or weekends because he plays at a hi...
So I stumbled across this website, and frankly, I'm baffled. I work for Kroger's, and I love it. I used to work at McDonald's, it was hell. You're complaining because you start out at entry level wages and then, oh no, you have to work there for 5 years or so to top out? How horrible! Except not really. At Mc...
The company was great and in demand back in 1890 to 1995. Now it is saturated, and ran by money hungry douche bags. if you get hired, you will not make much to live on until you have been there over 5 years. There is no great benefits anymore, and as time progresses it will get worse. No one wants to work at a...
