When a customer swipes their card and the terminal says "insufficient funds" and then lists the "EBT balance" or something like that, is that balance the amount of money they have on their card or is it how much of their order can be paid with an EBT food card?

I switched departments a few weeks ago from cashier to drug/gm. I also work file maintenance. I'm still making only $7.55 an hour. I began at Kroger making only $7.35 that was 15 months ago. Am I supposed to be getting paid any more since I switched departments?
