How does one apply for a transfer to another store?

I have heard some rumors recently about ending paper paychecks for good and moving over to direct deposit and debit pay cards for employees...You can still get a paper paycheck, but I've heard some rumours about those being phased out soon...Is this already going on at other stores, or have any of you...
