Hi, does anyone know how long it takes to get vacation paid out for non union stores? My last day worked was 4/25. However my two week notice stated that my last day would be 4/28. Paycheck comes in today and its for the last week I worked. Does anyone know when the vacation payout is for non-union stores? A...

Yet another cost saving cut by kroger. I bet Rodney will get another million bonus this year at the cost and suffering of employee hours. Mean while their employees are suffering with lower paychecks, encouraging high turn over and will happily keep the minimum wage cycle going. Our department is do...

Our hr rep will leave mid shift (approved) for a dr appt and come back several hrs later to finish her work shift. I thought split shifts were not allowed. Due to anything being in the middle being considered over time. She's been doing this for years and no one has called her out on this. It started out onc...

I've been baking at my store for a few weeks. A channel cart holds either 12 or 15 trays. At the very least I have one cart of rolls, one cart of bagels, one cart of Italian bread, one cart of breakfast pastries, one cart of artisan bread, and one cart of primetime French bread. I also have to slice the art...

2 months ago a much older co-worker put his hands on me back in the meat cooler. He came up from behind me, while i was bent over, and grabs me by my hips and squeezed. I scream....he laughs! Dear kroger: do you really think people want to stay if you remove "livable paychecks"? Company roll outs are always messes and it'll take you month to get it rolling smoothly. Just requesting one day off penalizes staff in their hours and tha'ts wrong. Sorry kroger but I'm going back to temping work t...

Only scheduled for 11 days out of each month. Fine, Kroger can keep it's hours. They'll never be able to find a better employee. Since Kroger forgot to put me in the schedule for for 3 weeks, on the fourth week, I was given 20 hours but I declined. No schedule, no loyalty.

Careful with over requesting days off with the new my time unless you want to screw over your hrs. I am accustomed to request 1-2 days a week off and I'm glad I only do 1-2 months at a time. I think I screwed over my hours with the new my time schedule. I am warning fellow staff to only request off what you need o...

Given this company 2 decades of my life and for what? Nothing. Just a pay-check-to-paycheck job. No good deed goes unpunished with this company. Lack of promotional advancement. Why does kroger always wait until staffing is a catastrophe before doing anything? Many stores are short staffed and it's like a few years ago when no one wanted to work and staff needed days off. No help to schedule so departments went unmanned. One call out and no one works for the day. Kroger wake up t...

Don't lie to your coworkers and tell them dribble like this. A coworker several years ago told me this and when I contacted the union (at the time) they told me she was wrong.

Sorry kroger but I can't stand this company any more and I was willing to work another 15 yrs until retierment. No. With lack of communication between stores and within the store and unable to maintain a healthy employee moral I'm just done. Done, done, done. This has become more of a dead end go no where...

An employee just up and goes back to their home country and last minute enacted fmla. We still need to be respectful because of the situation. They quoted "No eta of return."
