The 1-9 person is "sick" with a doctors note even though I haven't had her work a full week without calling off in idk how long. And my store manager wo...

Today my manager/hr came around to tell everyone that polo shirts must be work always. I have only recieved a zip up smock. He said employees would be sent home or suspended pending investigstion. Apparently you cannot wear just a smock or just a vest you will have to wear a polo under your smock.

After how many years do we get a pension?

The other big store in my city got additional Uscans. I guess to accommodate their new Scan Bag Go. I was just there this week to shop and I was like, wait a minute, these Uscans look different. Then I realized they're new! lol

Trying to get someone's attention, so I can be a member here. I try to log in and it says account still pending. User name is mamajdh. Thanks

I am a courtesy clerk of 3 weeks working at Kroger. Whenever I bag for this one checker, he NEVER helps bag. EVER. I can understand small orders, but it's the big orders. He'll even start the next order and leave me to bag the current one all by myself. If he has a big orders in line, he'll literally look for a...

It appears to be very difficult for customers to understand what we dont have any means. Some of their reactions are kinda funny, really. I mean, I get that weve been out of a lot of stuff lately, but jeez Im not lying to you guys. Anyway, enjoy the stories. Here they are: Okay, so my shift is until ten and us...

I am a department manager. I was told that I need to get a smart phone and a better cell plan. For background, I have a killer deal with a cell provider that provides the basic phone functions I need (Emergency phone service) and am very happy with my "dumb Phone" and the service I get. I have a home phone and...

Is it the future? Will we all be out of a job?

Lady flags me down. She says, "these items are 4 for 5." I look at the screen and I see each of them showing a price of like 3 for 5, but that's without the plus card. Below each of them is the plus card discount making each $1.25. So I count each item to make sure it's 5 items, and I notice she has 6, and also the 6t...

In my town these human ****roaches have become a literal plague. You can't go anywhere without seeing them sitting at the intersections holding their cardboard signs or in your face at the gas stations, public library or other public buildings.....and grocery stores. Oh, they'll come right up to...

I don't know about you but, I would hate coming to a grocery store every single day as part of my routine. I see this particular couple, they shop at my store every single day, without fail. 90% of the time they come through my Uscan. They mostly buy beer, at least 5 or 6 cans, every day. They never miss a day....

What does it mean to "throw a truck?"

Good Evening everyone, Recently I got moved to the fuel center and it has not been all that bad but tonight I had an incident and I felt that management could have helped me and avoided the situation. After years of working around drunks at restaurants or people under the influence by other things I le...
