I have recently been told that I'm being held back from the position promised to me and refused a transfer, from the store manager, because I let them know about the bullying I'm dealing with in my department (in writing). This isn't right!! How can corporate even allow this? I know that they are tryin...
But I caught on quick and stopped it from happening. He comes up to me and asks for two $10 notes for his $20 note. I take out the two $10 notes and hold it out as he gives me the $20 (which he has folded in half, but I saw it's a $20) to me at the same time. Then he makes like he's gonna leave. But oh, wait, as I open th...
Okay! So I have been told that "It's not what I say, It's how I say it." I'm not really sure what people mean by this, but I think what they are saying is; When I say "Check the temp log and make sure all the temps are up to par." I'm suppose to say "Will you check the temp logs?" It's stupid really because the oth...
How do I file a formal complaint against a store? I do not want to go to my local HR as the complaint is against an individual that works with HR at my former store. She devuldged personal information throughout the district that was to stay confidential. I have been told by several individuals that this...
Does anyone else have this problem? When I'm off the clock on my days off and I'm visiting my parents or other family members in the area, a lot of times they'll complain to me about stuff at Kroger. My aunt in particular likes to give me a list of complaints ("why are they always out on weekends? You should...
We got in unicorn cakes, unicorn cupcakes, and unicorn bread. We also have a new unicorn cake kit. Is there some unicorn movie coming out or is somebody in the office just crazy about unicorns?
Just wondering. We're so understaffed. Someone going on vacation in the deli is disastrous. They're even worse off in the bakery - some people have come in to work on their vacations because of their understaffing issues. There's literally only 3 people + the department head working over there and m...
There was a meeting yesterday with all the deli and bakery department heads in the division. One of the topics was that everybody is ordering too much and we have too much product in our freezers. Today I ran the frozen food bills. They added out 30 cases of 4-count muffins plus 10 cases of 8-inch pies...
Apparently our shrink numbers are too good and they think we aren't going for sales. It's never occured to them that we know what we're doing and we know how much we sell. Anyway, here's their idea. They want us to start doing Artisan bread and doughnuts twice a day. Artisan bread is our biggest shri...
For the safety of courtesy clerks, for the safety of customers, please speak up when people block the firelane to use the Redbox. As a consumer I exit the store and if a large SUV is parked right by the store entry, it impairs the vision on other drivers. Once I was exiting, carrying several two-liters...

All 30 of them sold. They sell a lot better than that stupid artisan bread they keep trying to cram down everybody's throat. I'm still not convinced that someone isn't being paid under the table for us to carry that bread. We're not allowed to mark it down and we probably throw away half of it or more, a...
