Guy comes up to me, actually he yells hello from a few feet away, like as if I know him. I say hello back, then he comes up to me and says "hey, you remember me?" I draw a blank. "I used to work at the CVS down the street." ... I've only been in that CVS one time to buy something, and I've never seen that guy. Not the...
So Ive been working at the same store for two years. An assistant manager asks if Im willing to be mentored by someone who used to be a store manager. She said I would be asking my mentor for any questions, and that he would guide me in the right direction. She also gave me a company e-mail and said I would con...

I have a morning shift tomorrow and the way I'm feeling, I'm probably not going to be able to go. If you need to call ahead two hours in advance but there's no manager there what do you do?
Ive been working at Kroger for quite a while now but the store I work at is horrible. I have had a MIC harass me saying you cant leave your register, you cant leave USCAN. My store manager stating to me that I cant wear a jacket but she never says anything to other employees. I have had my manager tell me I dont...
Anyone ever have someone quit without any notice and completely screw over your department? I had someone a couple days ago, quit on me with a half hour notice before she was due to come in. I tried to get her to put in a two weeks, or even a one week notice, or at the very least SHOW UP FOR HER SHIFT, but nope no...
On every internet forum. That one guy who's a complete know it all and has just got to put his 2 cents in no matter what the topic, and it doesn't matter that nobody responds to him. He'll respond to himself. Know any one like that?
Are these surveys linked to your account along with your name? And could you potentially give yourself a "highly satisfied" comment? Seems to me like a way for some ppl to get more "comments" towards those prizes...
Okay, So I have worked for Kroger for over a year now. Still dealing with 3 people who completely hate me and refuse to listen to any advice I give them ( I am a Back-up). They also refuse to do their jobs when they know I'm coming in. I know they hate me because I actually do my job and they are unable to chase me...
This isn't for me this is for co workers and couldn't find a answer. We have a lazy grocery manager that's a dick, liar and doesn't know how to talk to people. He tares people down and threatens to fire them instead of encouraging and building people up. Crew Chief does the same and acts the same way. I wi...
I want to understand more about EBT. Why would a customer complain about the price of an item (couple dollars difference), when they're going to be paying with EBT? Isn't it free money from the government? Especially when I saw they had like $500 left on their balance.
This happened at the end of my shift tonight. I turned my light off when I noticed that it was 9:58 p.m., and I was scheduled to leave at 10 p.m. I was dealing with 2 customers at that time. I was also working at one of the express lane registers. I noticed a cart full of groceries right in front of the belt. The...
