UFCW 75 VOTE TODAY. make sure to get out there and vote no on our contract. This will be a pay cut for anyone topped out. Demand some of that permanent tax break to make up for the fact it expires for normal folks in 2025. No one in corporate makes a Happy customer. Vote no on this insult.
Hey everybody, Had a quick question for those that have been through the Steps to Success/managerial training or something program. Basically, what is the program like? And do you get actual training for leadership positions? And is it strictly managerial training to be a store manager in general...
Target is horrible with Food...... Kroger isn't the greatest with Clothing/Household goods....... How about a Kroget? Targer? If consolidation is happening, why just Food Stores....
I Know this sounds silly but i want to ask ya'll this question. Two and a half years ago I had a upper tooth pulled and it didn't heal right and I have a dry socket and the bone is exposed. Next to the dry socket I have a impacted wisdom tooth and they are on my upper right maxilla side. My question is could bact...
Okay, so this is my first job and I'm wondering if y'all can help me out. I don't think my manager likes talking to me. Yeah, he says hello and I say hello. He answers my questions about the job. But when I try to socialize a bit with him, he always seems too busy to talk to me. Now you may say, well yeah cause he'...
I'm wanting to transfer to a store in the next city over ("different bargaining area") because the potential for hours is greater, but I'm going over the transfer forms and it looks like it's saying I could very well lose my health insurance until the next year rolls around. I could understand if I was m...
What's the worst you've heard for stupidity? My favorite is "Where's the gluten free cabbage?" Other one is a customer is chatting on their smart phone but too illiterate to read a five letter word "Closed".

Managers, other associates, even other customers. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes. Example. This is from today. Two ID checks ha...
Am I the only one who is paranoid about customers memorizing your operator password? Sometimes on Uscan, there are customers who flag me for help, which is to clear a security check. And as I arrive, I see the green and blue operator sign in screen. Which can only be displayed if you press the secret butt...
It just now dawned on me that almost every Wal-Mart I've been in, regardless of the area, has full shelves ALWAYS. How does Wal Mart accomplish this while Kroger can't?
EUID_Unknown, I think I know why our Uscans are always low on cash. I think the managers have a low limit on the amount of cash each Uscan is supposed to have. Today, just as my shift was ending, the ACSM on duty asked me to make a list of all my Uscans that are cash disabled and why they are cash disabled, caus...
I have been with Kroger for 6 months now and I'm looking to become a backup within the next 6 to 8 months. I am currently part time and having my hours cut down because I am about to become full time by default. I am fighting to get more hours but at the same time I looking to learn more about what I can do to becom...
