I was hired at my local Kroger about a month ago and I've been working the past two weeks as a bagger. At my store baggers get 30 minute lot shifts. I usually work about 4 hours and I end up scheduled for 3 lot shifts per day. I struggle at pushing in carts (I'm only able to do about 5 at a time) and after work I'm l...
Are all your courtesy clerks male in your store? Just wondering as this ran through my head as being a little sexist, with all the males doing the harder works (such as the constant racking of carts in 100+ degree weather).
So I have a Interview for the assistant drug gm spot and was wondering if there are any tips or things I should know about, I have been working at kroger for 4 years and i'm currently working in the grocery department and have never worked in drug gm before.
Hello, I work in a Cincinnati Kroger and this week our hours were cut by 70 hours. We currently weren't getting enough hours to do the work we were supposed to already - now we have almost two entire people with no hours. My question is everyone in my department is either status 1 or status 3 and in our co...
So I posted a question a couple weeks ago looking for folks who knew anything about FAC electronic technician interview questions. No one replied, but I figured I would post my experience for any of you folks who might be curious. Here is what my "interview" was like. I put that in quotes be...
Ok guys, about 4 months ago I had a talk with my union rep about switching departments and I was telling her how the mangers moved other people before me when I asked way before the other employees did. So she asked me whether I had more seniority than the other employees. I told her yes, I started June 25th...
The union has reached a tentative agreement with Kroger. It will be voted on next week and surely passed. I haven't seen it in writing, but I have heard a few key points from somebody who has. Overall, I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a lot more given the recent wage increases from competitors and...
Trying to fill around 2,000 positions at 185 stores. I wonder why they would have 2,000 positions open at 185 stores in the first place? Certainly couldn't be the low pay, lack of acknowledgement from management or the manipulation of the hours keeping part-timers part-time. Nor could it be the mass...
Hi, pls am to resume work tomorrow as a grocery clerk, when I checked the salary review at glass door iron was 10/hr but am seeing 7.50 on my profile, is that the real amount kroger pays?
Your customer wants lunchmeat. You come to take their order still wearing your gloves you had on from the last customer. You check the display case, no lunchmeat. You walk to the cooler, open the door with your gloved hand, check inside, come back out. You walk around to the outside of the display c...
I lost my password you guys for the account. But I just wanted you all to know that I am working at the home depot still. I actually left KROGER if you could guess... Sorry I have been so inactive lately I am just so happy feeling like I moved on from the devilbitch FEM!!!. Hope all you are doing as...
Is it mandatory that I take the Pharmacy Tech Exam and obtain my certification in Kentucky? It seems like I read somewhere online that I had one year to obtain my certification, and if I don't pass, I will be demoted to another job in the store? Is this true?
I recently interviewed to become an apprentice meat cutter. I was told that ?the apprenticeship program would be sixteen weeks long. Do I become a journeyman after that, because it seems a little quick? How long does it take to become a journeyman?
