Why? There are plenty of strange recipes out there for you to try out using fresh ingredients. No rat droppings, roach parts, dirt or soft plastic and not stored frozen (we hope) in a warehouse for months.

So today I came in and didn't realize I wasn't scheduled. I tried to clock in and it didn't let me, but sometimes our time clocks are wonky and I've been unable to clock in on days when I was scheduled before, so I wrote it down. When the manager found out what happened he was unhappy and ended up sending me ho...

So we have a SM who worked at a store in Dayton then got promoted to a store in Another county, then got promoted to a bigger store. Well now she's been moved to the store original store in Dayton. So that would be a demotion and it could not have happened to a more deserving "human being"

My store manager just got fired this week! He was around 50 years old and worked at Kroger all his life started out as a bag boy and worked his way up. I think that it was just wrong for Kroger to fire him like that without warning, I thought that he was a good manager, and nice guy. When I mentioned it to so...

I just got hired at a Kroger near my house part-time! I am really excited about it! It'll be a 2nd job! What should I expect? They were really enthusiastic about hiring me on!

How do they do your last paycheck? Do they mail it? My last day was this past Friday and my paychecks were direct deposit. I am already locked out of both feed site and the paycheck site. That pisses me off looks like they would have not deleted me this quick. I cannot access Merrill Lynch. Oh and this was a...

Hello, Exactly what is the REAL process that goes on when something (equipment, whatever) needs repairing at Kroger and the manager says "OK, I will put it on the hub". I have heard this phrase for ages. Does all Kroger stores use this expression for turning in a problem to the repair division or "Main...

Well, of course it does, lady. It's simple, we have a limited supply of these items. And because of that, each customer can only get one per day. You can't just buy however much you want, it wouldn't be fair to the other customers who would also like one. Oh, really? It still doesn't make sense to you? You d...

I hate fat ones

With all of the fat ones permitted to ride on mobility scooters at Kroger, I'd like to be permitted to ride a Crazy Cart in my local Kroger store. I'm not fat so will I be discriminated against?

Is Kroger trying to kill me with its playlist. I go home at the end of the day with one of the ****ty songs in my head pretty much everyday. They've had the same playlist for 6 months I think.

I've been working at Fry's for a few months now, and in lieu of a switch to morning shift and going through three different departments as the store tries to figure out what to do with some kid who came back on leave of absence, how in the world are you supposed to call in sick before the store opens? I was su...

Kroger's can't seem to keep managers. One store had two co mangers just quit and walk out within two weeks of each other. Last week a store leader just walked off the job after a visit from corporate. Another gave their two week notice this week. Are store managers quitting or just walking out in other ar...

My store just had six new SCOs installed last week which makes a total of 22. (We're a big two-story store...no Scan, Bag, and Go). Well, the new ones look exactly like the other 16 that we already had (Toshiba System 6) but they installed a new feature that I actually really love. We can still use the bulk...

I'm tempted to cow tip fat ones at Kroger on scooters. There's no excuse for that:
