Fuel Center clerks (new hires) start at $15.50 an hour-that is MORE than what I make. The first year of the Contract we only get a 50 cent raise. It's definitely a contract that favors Management/Kroger,. Also it was hard to find a link to the proposals so we could read it before voting. So that meant I cou...

You think by now this company would not work me 6+ days in a row always getting sick by day 7 or 8 and then having to miss any where from 2-5 days after that. Well... go against my availability and that's what you'll get. There's a reason I have this. I can work fewer hours, be healthier and not be exhausted pu...

I'm getting tired of people adding on another week or two to their vacation upon return. I am going to talk to our managers about this. You need to know this violates the attendance policy.

Every store I've worked at has had a handful of these individuals that just barging hunt or found ways to live off of them. I kept asking our manager on the rules of these and they said just get me involved. Me translating it as "I don't care." No, sorry barging hunters but I'm done with this group of people...

All bakers in my division are suppose to go to another store for a four hour meeting. Why? It's right in the middle of my shift. If they have something to say, just send out a memo.

We do so many things at this company for appearance only. I see it every day, in every store I'm in, and at every level; Store Walks, Processes, Observations, Equipment Inspections, Temperature Logs, Pick-up Fill Rates, you name it! We are very good at faking the funk with the appearance of integrit...

Don't you love it when a coworker adds another week on to their vacation? This screws over your coworkers into exhaustion and you eventually get sick of it. Lead's going to be pissed but I am not working with the flu bug. I did that on my last one and it took twice as long to get over it.

Our am opener kept having tardiness issues so they just changed his start time to compensate the difference instead of punishing him for it. Now, that's 100% favoritism!

Whoever thought of the idea to pull associates as side help for front end etc was/is an idiot. Front end hours have been cut or not used so executives and store mangers can fatten their bonuses. Customer complain all the time about the lack of cashiers and baggers. I tell them I don't work in the front...

One time I went into a Kroger bathroom and there was a poop that looked like a meatloaf in the toilet. Another time a female employee went in there and came back out almost instantly and she looked pale. She had said some one blasted one of the female stales. she said the smell was unbearable. I don't go int...
