Just in the past week, there have been stories of a customer having her window smashed out by a pedestrian, someone shot DEAD in a parking lot, one abandoned baby (today!), and that is just this week! All at local Kroger stores here. What crime has happened in your lot and how is your store responding?

My manager is a real jerk about this. Says, " if they LOOK old enough, let em go. Use your judgement. Sell it to them. I was TOLD in the beginning, to card EVERYONE REGARDLESS! I'm NOT gonna lose my job because some fart is pissed I card them! I'm sorry. What do yo do?

I recently got hired for the click list position I go to the training center tomorrow for orientation. But I have a couple questions: do I have to call the store to get on the schedule ? How will I know where to go after I clock in will they tell me? what will my first day be like ? - from a nervous employee

Why can't it be so simple as stocking product to the shelf? Why do we need all these time wasting scans (such as batch maintenance and lows & holes)? I can understand scanning residual backstock and changing balances on holes to zero when the product isn't there, but everything else just seems unn...
