I've been working as a bakery closer for about a month now and it's pretty awful. Just to give some background; this is a smaller, older store compared to others but it's in a growing town so it's pretty busy. The tables go empty very fast since there isn't much room. The bakery's freezer is filled to the c...
And how often do they acknowledge you? I've been practicing saying "have a nice day" to customers as they go outside and greeting people when I'm walking through the aisles. But I don't like that empty feeling I get when I'm not acknowledged. But on the other hand, I can kind of see why, I mean it feels ki...
My store manager is a real ******* of a lady. Everytime I call in, I always call in more than enough hours in advance like today I called 6 hours in advance. I told her that my nose is running flipping snot and she said just take sinus medicine. Really? IT'S A FOUR HOUR SHIFT JUST FIND SOMEONE TO COVER IT. Eve...
I'm sorry to make this a post but I could not find a way to contact the moderators of this site. I have been trying to edit my topics and add things but it won't save the changes. So I have lost everything I typed. This also goes for any replies I have made, also there is no delete button to those either. Perhap...
One of the four store managers, I think, dislikes my existence. I mean I don't know how else to put it. I've tried to say hello to him as I walk through the halls. When I've had to ask him necessary questions related to the job, he answers me with this look of disgust in his face. I can almost picture him wanti...
So recently we were told that we are going to have to get direct deposit, so I change I got I decided to to go for it with a kpfprepaid card. Well that card expired and they sent a new one which gave me a new account number I checked pay stub on hr express after changing my direct deposit account and it says it...
I completed the application but the only thing I didn't do was show a resume because it wasn't required it was optional. Also, they asked if I ever worked at Kroger before and I said no? this is what they stated: Thank you for your interest in the Kroger Retail Hourly Associate position with Kroger...
I'm a CC and I always try to do my best, but I feel like my coworkers (cashiers) sometimes get annoyed by me. What is a fast bagger to you? Usually I bag just in time when the customer finishes paying or like 30 secs after (which is like forever with everyone starting at you to finish) And I try to get custome...
I got my employee discount kroger card today. I registered it online. My manager said it is linked to my employee number. if I put in a phone number for an alternate ID on the kroger website is that going to erase my employee number from the card?
I may have accidentally taken two photocopied coupons. I was checking the numbers (which were small print) but the customer was rushing me and being rude to me the whole time. Could I lose my job for this? They were $2 off coupons, if that matters.
The Caramel Apple Torte cake is finally back in the building!!! And yes I did buy one and it is chilling in my freezer!!! Anything you guys look forward to this time of year in the seasonal stuff or just have traditional faves that you enjoy? Another fave for me, but actually comes out towards Christmas i...
So my truck was broken into while on the clock working my night shift and they stole stereo equipment. The cameras had been conveniently shut down right after arrival at work that night, so there is no footage of the burglary. Called the company's insurance and they said I'm responsible for my own vehi...
Why is Kroger so greedy for money. Target is raising the min wage to 15 dollars by 2020. Like if we got paid more we would likely work harder. It's hard to live off the little bit of money we make. If we have to get part time jobs to help with bills and school. kroger makes billions a year and cannot invest in be...
