corporate, you want more production, how about you give us some decent working conditions? Hours are **** so we have one person to go sort a 500-1000 piece grocery truck when the outside temperature is 100 degrees. It's pretty close to that on the dock and there's NO BREEZE. Is someone going to have...
they've changed a lot through the years, from taking just a few minutes to complete to much more lengthy, drawn out TSGs, but whatever method they've used, what is the point? Nobody comes in and says "oh i'm supposed to spend 3 hours doing dsd today" What a waste of time. Hours have gotten so bad that I...
Went to Kroger a month or few ago and they had the delightful discoveries sample carts out. One had a turkey chili. I tried it and loved it. They were out of the recipe cards so the employee let me take a picture of what I thought was the entire recipe..it ended up just being half of it. Here is what I have. C...
Today, I really messed up. A lady came paid with food stamps. Now, she said , "I have 76 dollars on the card." And I was like okay. So, the payment goes through. And everything shifts. She never told me to use only 76 dollars on the card. Just that she only had 76. So then she has to go to customer service. Ever...
seems a few times a year, our management and dept heads go crazy to get ready to be certified. I'm a pretty loyal worker but I could give two ****s about being certified. If we fail are they going to close the store? No. Am I going to get less hours? No. Sure the corporate worms will be up our asses for a...
Someone who always takes handles off dustpans and puts them on brooms. The man who runs the floor machine at night does this. He also messes up the Handel for the wide broom. He leaves mop water in bucket filled almost to the top. Also this maniack took the wheels off the vacuum cleaner.

Morons running this division. The sales are all money losers and they scratch all the big sales items. Then complain about OSAT. This place is going down fast.
my store is getting click list. I thought with senority I would still get Saturday's and Sunday's off. Found out today nobody would get weekends off. I have 29 years and I was getting the weekends off as a cashier so now I have decided to stay on the front end where it will be be easier to get weekends off. I...
So I called in sick on 8/14 for a 6.5-hour cashier shift. When I got my paycheck on 8/18, it said I had 6.28 sick hours available. When I read my pay stub today (for pay day tomorrow), it said I had 7.31 sick hours available. I asked an experienced cashier how to request the sick pay, and she said to fill out a...
I'm sure we all have that one coworker in our store who we would really like to see fired. Out of curiosity, if you could fire one person at your store/department, who would it be and why? Here's mine... I've been with Kroger for two months; I started as a courtesy clerk then got switched to cashier after...

All three days I have been working canned goods; soups, fruit, beans, vegetables, tomatoes, as well as boxed stock and soups, and other assorted related thi...
When we employees in FE ask if a customer found everything alright, one customer review told us they don't like it and that it annoys them. Then we get another comment saying that because there wasn't any help, a customer felt ignored on the floor. Before we were even under Kroger before the buyout, we a...
