I've been paying attention to the shoes people wear for the past month; and most people don't even wear slip resist shoes and definitely do not wear shoes for crews shoes! Our hr rep was wearing smogs yesterday. yes those wonderful toe shoes. She is the lady haranguing me about slip resist shoes and she...
Our store manager decided to take on a position at the office district. The company sort of screwed her over with a temporary position but didn't tell her that. Shame it's rare to get a 1st manager that everyone likes, feels comfortable talking with at a personal level to a degree and willing to work wit...
I've worked for Kroger for many years and enrolled from benefits many times. However, last year I went through enrollment thinking everything was okay and that I had benefits. While at the hospital with my wife at the end of February they came to me and told me they needed another form of payment. When I...
This has always been a bit confusing: If you decide to swap shifts with another coworker. You show up for their shift but they fail to show up to yours. Who is responsible? According to my time the shifts would be completely swapped. The shift originally assigned would now be swapped with another cow...
God I was happy when this uniform bs ended. It's expensive, their employees are too poor to buy uniforms and they often wear them to shreds before replacing them. Our manager is enforcing the shoes for crews shoes and it's super frustrating not being offered an alternative. Company has always offer...
I never been treated worse in my entire life. The employees treated us poorly. I got my revenge. I became a janitoral shoplifter. 14k in 6 months . That's for my pain and suffering. Then I quit. I was the highest paid janitor in the nation.
If you are like me and refuse to agree to the "I agree" clause and have read through it and have found phrases like "we can remotely delete data on your phone." a bit of a security risk... You can do the same dribble in your phone web browser. Kronos is going away so you will be forced to use this. I can only fee...
I recently quit my job as cashier in the middle of a busy shift. A bad thing to do, I know, but I was fed up. I spoke to the person supervising that evening, the "Assistant Co-ordinator of Customer Service" or some such, the only red vest person there. I told him I was quitting, was sorry, but...
Hello fellow Kroger employees!I have a question about our company policies regarding time off requests. Does anyone know the procedure for requesting time off, especially during busy periods? I want to make sure I follow the correct steps and ensure smooth operations at our store. Any insights or...
Due to the esced roll out my april 2024 schedule is all mucked up and will most definitely have to utilize a couple call outs this month. I wonder with my time replacing the old system will they do away with the kronos clocking system?
I am going to retire in June 2024. I have been a full time bagger since August 1980. I will miss my coworker. I will be moving to a retirement community in Florida.
15 months ago I was freed of a department I was stuck in for 12 years. Free at last. After working from a new perspective I am realizing how many of my x-coworkers are douche bags. I've lost much respect for many of my coworkers. I'm realizing how many of them could care less about their coworkers and just t...
does anyone see their bonus in myinfo? I heard they were supposed to be sent out on Friday but some people are saying they are posted under "payslips" in myinfo. I'm supposed to be getting one, but only my regular payslip shows... no bonus payslip.
Why has esced been down for like 10 days and I can't even get into check my schedule half the time. I'm ****ed for a few days I need off in April 2024 and I'm just going to do what I did in Jan and call out for those appointments. If this goes on another month I'm filing a union grievance for the esced being down m...
The annoying part right now (originally post date of this post) is that esced is off line a lot and barely works right now. Employees have lives to plan around work and they can not plan day off requests with it being off line so much. At best. I have used My Time with other companies and it's hit or miss at if...
Ive just retained full time status and requested to have a couple days off, I was told that I would still have to come in an extra day to work 32 hours for the week to obtain my full time. Is this true and if so why do so many people have a week off at time with no penalties?
We have to do Fresh Production in bakery every day. What if there's nobody available or around to actually put out the product? Today we only had two people, and one of them wasn't even working a full day. You can't say you did zero of something anymore. You have to put in that you did at least the amoun...
