I am getting married this friday, (put in last week) and someone came and rolled me for it. I've been with kroger for a year and they been there for 3 years. Now, there is NO way I am changing the date. what will happen if I choose to go through with my orginal plans? They originally said I had that day and now t...
im fairly new to kroger. been there about 3 months. in that time i have requested three days off, but one of them wasn't even a full day just a partial day. do they get mad if you ask off a lot? i mean, i work in deli and there are plenty of other people in the department. also i never miss work, ever. does it look...
So I interviewed for a cashier/courtesy clerk position around 8 business days ago (excluding the weekend, of course) and I was told that I pretty much had the job. I took the drug test and the hiring manager said they would send my background check off. I had already taken the pre-background check thi...
So I got terminated from Kroger for consuming without purchasing and I admitted to the HR and what not but my question is should I put Kroger down for employment history on a job application? I've been with Kroger for 6 months and it was my first job, I'm 18 by the way. I was planning on applying to another g...
We had an angry customer call in and demand to speak to a manager. There were no managers available at the time and the customer on the phone got more and more pissed. Then she started to describe what the girl she was talking to on the phone looked like and what she was doing, where she was standing etc, so a...
So after over 5 years dealing with Kroger Kulture, I finally made the big break applied for & got another job, and quit. Gave 5 working days notice. No problem. There is no law---federal, state county or municipal, that requires giving 2 weeks notice, or any notice whatsoever. After all, if K...
The theme song that I got started is one I got several others singing about kroger love.It goes something like this kroger loves the little workersall the little workers in the store dumb and stupid ,not so brightwere all ignorant in there sight Kroger loves the little workers in the store.
I filled out my vacation request form in January. My request for my vacation showed up on Eschedule as approved. Does this mean that it's set or do I need to put it into Eschedule myself as my vacation week?
Do you all see employees who will get shifts they don't like and just call out "sick" because of it? I only want to do what I want to do when I want to do it! Boo-hoo!! They come & go on their own schedule no matter how it screws the dept. They call out without consequences but in a pattern tha...
I'm the one on leave in another country. I got back Wednesday, I'm due to go back to work May 31st, everything normal. Saturday the 16th, while still in India, I forgot how to walk and sprained my ankle super bad. The doctor I saw yesterday gave me a work note saying I had to do desk duty and keep it elevated,...
I work in the deli department but I want to work as a night stocker now. It hasn't really been a month yet since I've been in the deli department. It's fine but I don't really care for dealing with customers anymore even though it's not as much customers I would have working in fast food. Anyway, is there a c...
shrink in a market can be this much. $1100 worth of loss. Sad think is that the employee that left this out can not be disciplined because the store management is afraid to to write-ups because of staffing problems. This had been done 3 times in one period and now management wants to get rid of him. But wit...
i was recently asked by a office manager if i would like to train to be a front end supervisor or fez. i said yes. but i have a few questions about it. first how much extra pay is included? i heard at one point it was a dollar but now its like 50 cents. 2. is there any tips for being a good fez? lastly is it stressfu...
Anyone have problem with on line orders in their deli/bakery dept? We've got 2 orders placed for 100 pc. chicken at 11:45. One was called in earlier in the week and the other placed on line a couple days later. Yet were expected to have them both done at the same time. Our managers seriously expect us...
My first day at the deli was yesterday & it went pretty well. I'm just worried I won't like it in about a month lol. It's gonna take awhile for me to remember the meats etc I rather just package up food & cook. My shifts are from 9am-5:30pm. It's really slow during those hours. I feel like an annoya...
Can Kroger deny personal day requests? I requested Sunday off because i'm going to Cedar Point. I already bought tickets and fast lane plus passes because fast lane sells out pretty quickly. If I do get scheduled, i'm going to have to call off since they are non-refundable. My schedule doesn't even c...
Been about nine years or around that since we was last able to get good help in the meat departments. Back then is was a case where a new inexperienced clerk would start as fifty cents higher than a new inexperienced grocery clerk. That gave us a a good chance to get the best of new workers in the meat...
