So this regular that always comes to the Fuel Center got busted for shop lifting. I was on break when I was heading back inside to clock in and a member of management came out and pointed to her and said: "You're going to have to come back inside. We caught you. Why do it if there's cameras everywhere?...
Last night was my last day at Kroger. Not gonna lie, it was a bittersweet thing, as most of my co-workers were awesome. However, coupled with my own personal reasons and Kroger's business practices, it wasn't going to work out anyways. As for my time on this site...well, some of yall are entertain...
On the first day of the job, what am I to expect? Also, are you given a set list of things to do or do they expect you to just do things when you feel they need done?
Right, so today is Sunday, and I was the opening Self-checkout person. It got slightly busy, but I was still able to keep up with every customer who went through, and I only had to call our opening cashier up to the front to check someone out once, for someone who had a large order. At around 8am, a "cu...
What is the best method for keeping outs below goal on the scorecard? Should I use the replenishment report or something else when checking outs on the floor? It seems as though our outs shoot up sky high regardless of how many holes we fill, and I've always felt that there was something we were missing....
does Kroger have a progressive discipline policy for non-union employees? That is, is there policy book that delineates warnings, discipline, followed by termination? Thank you for your time.
I'm sure other stores have rolled this out already also. I work in the Meat Department, and I've heard talk that management wants us to set up a little hotplate/electric grill, in order to serve hotdogs or other meat items to customers. Personally, I am NOT doing that. Serving food like that was NOT wh...
What's the arbitration policy at Kroger for non-union employees, for union employees? As you can imagine, Kroger makes it very difficult to get this info, particulary for employees in trouble and former employees. This information has become crucial for me at this stage. Thank you for your time.

I hate working in the deli. I emailed my hiring manager about switching departments but she never responded. I feel like quitting without a two weeks notice :/ I also feel like calling out again since they denied my request for Fridays off. My store is very ****ty. I don't wanna seem unprofessional but...
I don't know, most of their stuff has left me wondering what's so impressive about it. I like their chipotle gouda, baby swiss (and that's mainly because PS baby swiss tastes like mildew) and cajun mayo a lot but everything else just isn't that impressive for the price they're asking for. In fact a lot o...
I started working at Kroger (I would rather not say where) in Georgia because I missed in "HIS WORDS" 48 hours. I went and completed the training at "Kroger University" the last 3 days I was NOT feeling well but sucked it up and went. Before my first day at the actual store I was burn...
I was just offered a job at a Kwik Shop and it sounds great but I don't think the woman that hired me noticed I'm 28 weeks pregnant which is amazing because I'm very obviously showing. If I accept the job, I clearly won't qualify for maternity leave but will they fire me for needing time off to have the baby?...
I was hirit is saying userid or password incorrect even though I know it is right, I logged in yesterday fine, is anyone else having problems signing in to reschedule greatpeople.me??
This may be more of a union question, but I got the backup position 2 months ago, I got4 more weeks and I will be officially full time, if they force me out after that will I get to keep my full time and pay, pays only 75 cents more, I'm not certified

They are so helpful you may go to any one of them at anytime for anything. So appreciated. They are Mr. Webster, Mrs.Hillman, Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Daniel Choe ( last...
