Been dealing with some pay issues for a few months now since my title changed and my stores HR manager told me it's because we recently changed from the mid south division, division but no one in corporate HR gave me a straight answer the nearly 20 times I kept calling and talking to someone so I feel as tho...
Had to have 10 Stitches on the back of my head(basically on my neck.), and the doctor said that I should not jog or do much physical activity for 2-3 weeks while the stitches dissolve. My question is, would Management be alright if I were to ask to not go on Lot duty during this time period? Im asking what...
Haven't seen any posts from any pharmacy techs wondering if any are on here. I worked as a cashier/floor supe for two years then transferred to the pharmacy and have been there for a couple years. Glad to have found this site!
So, after memorial day, I got a larger check due to working 5 hours that day with increased wages, compared to the check I got the following week that had more work hours. What gives? I can't even crack $300. Who can live on that?
Both of our main manager and customer care head took a leave of absence. And because of that we have a weasel of a co-manger who is friendly to your face but stabs you in the back when you turn around. He busted my hours down to less than 35 and I'm supposed to get at least 40. His response was that since I'm una...
I never received any experience pay. Started at $7.45, same as a lot of people who have never had a job. I have worked in customer service for 20 plus years. I know they only give credit for the last 60 months, but I was an assistant manager in a kitchen store for that time period. I have used a cash register!...
Just a quick reminder: The survey is basically used to evaluate management at your store. Try and answer truthfully (including what department you are in). HOWEVER, you do NOT have to answer the demographic questions, especially because those can be used to identify you. All you have to do is pres...
Well today I've just been laid off from my job after working for almost two years at my local Kroger. The reason for this is because I had a family cruise with my relatives between June 3-9 and I had to take the time off at work but apparently I didn't do something right. I went to the e-schedule and requeste...
Hey everyone. I've worked at Kroger for 2 years now, and am in college for mechanical engineering, and am a junior in college. I've been applying for internships recently, because they will be good for my career, and have gone on some interviews for them. I got a call back from a local firm that I inter...
I've been scheduled for basically full-time for the past 2 weeks, and for next week. I don't want full-time. I'm in college taking a few summer classes. I've asked to be cut back, but I was scheduled like that again. If it happens again, I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice. I was hired to be part time. I don...
After the recent associate tracker in which our store had very bad results I was asked to join the cultural counsel. I was told by the manager she wanted me so I would tell the truth about what is really upsetting the employees, not to hold anything back. My question to you guys is what do you think of the c...
If some one was suspended on Tuesday and tries to check there email on Wednesday (which they have always done from phone) and cannot gain access does that mean they are already terminated in the system?
I went for my interview with Fred meyers last friday. Took my drug test and signed for the background. I was offered the job and was told they will contact me when they hear back on the tests. Tomorrow will be One week since. How long does it normally takes to hear back? Will they contact me if I didn't get th...
