40-50% of the store staff falls into this category. People at my store talk about forming an unofficial walk against the manager the days leading up to thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is when we should have kroger by the balls
I had a 6 hour shift today (11-5). About 3, I went up to the CS desk to ask about my lunch. The CSM told me that I didn't get a lunch for a 6 hour shift. I was baffled because I could swear that you get a break and a lunch for a 6 hour shift. I know that I've gotten a lunch & a break for 6 hour shifts before.
Just saw a letter near the time clock stating that Kroger is proposing no changes to our health care in 2015. But mentions nothing about 2016. Anyone hear anything about this? From several of the people I've talked to they seem to think a strike is a real possibility. Our contract meeting in on the 3...
so my store is always freezing, so naturally we all wear black plain jackets. But now they're throwing at us that we cannot have hoods. They won't even give us a reason why we can't have them. Anyone know?
I just started working at Kroger a couple of weeks ago and, I don't have my associate discount yet. Does anyone know the number you're supposed to call to activate the Kroger plus card?
How horrible to find out that KROGER quietly ended the program without proper announcements and not informing their "valued" associates to redeem any remaining points... Great way to "Reward" your "great people"!!! Great way to save your money for the raises y...
OK so someone I know is getting wrote up for a no call no show for going on a fire run but the rub went out 2 hours before his shift he had no way of contacting his employer to notify of his absence the moment the run was over he called immediately to notify them and they write it up as a no call no show even though h...
Every week there is a problem with my schedule. I've been at kroger for almost 2 years and I've never been the person to work less than 18 hours. My manager scheduled me 12 even though I am above many people. It makes me mad because EVERYBODY under me had more hours.. Is this fair?
So I hit an anniversary mark and get another week of vacation. I'm eligible to use it any time now but it isn't listed in Express HR yet. How long will it take for my vacation time to appear on Express HR? (Dayton/Cincy if it makes a difference)
i've tried to be patient but enough is enough. I'm tired of spending hours in the snow, rain, and cold every day pushing carts. We have to go into 30 degree weather for 30 minutes when they tell us to. The problem with this is alot of days they send me outside 5 or 6 times a day. That's 3 hours outside. Today i h...
Long story short, I was hired at Kroger on 9/7/2014. When I was hired I stressed that my availability was extremely limited but I wanted a part time job for some additional household income. The Administrative Manager said that wouldn't be a problem because the closing shift was hard to schedule and i...
So our Front End staff likes to leave the clipboard just laying around at random. Tonight I saw a note by someone's name on the cashier list of employees working that this girl had come in 20 minutes late. The note basically said "20 minutes late, no break." I don't recall how long she worked,...
I'm new, but I've worked for Kroger previously. I am trying to figure out what is going on. I was hired in for one department, then told I would not get hours, transferred by HR to another department, and now I'm being told again I would not get hours and I haven't even started working yet (just done traini...
I took a bottle of apple cider and i got 6 months in prison. indianapolis. anyway the employees never go after the thugs. funny kroger is weak anyway. they go after the donut eaters. oh well. the law is now changed. you must take 750 bucks. I was extradited also from wyoming to indiana. go fiqure. as pushi...
So, let me start off by saying that, since I've started working at our store, I've been doing self checkout since day one. For the first mmmm.... maybe, week? I've been wanting to get on a normal register. Only because it'd been hectic, machines were screwing up, and those that were on before me had scre...
