I'm quitting after Saturday. No one knows yet, but I'm tired of this hellhole, and I'be decided to put my degree to better use. As I was doing markdowns this morning, I thought "hmm, I wonder what would happen if I went marldown crazy and marked down EVERYTHING in our department." Meh, just a...

We just got in our Moonlight Madness fliers out/volunteer sheet up. This is my first year, so before I get talked into volunteering for something I'm going to end up dreading (since I usually get asked first on front-end if there's something no one else wants to do). I'm guessing its the new Kroger equi...

I hate when we run out of carts and I'm the ONLY person out there doing them. That ALWAYS happens to me. Not only is it wrong and unfair, but it's tedious and exhausting. I can only do so much seeing as if I only have two hands and I'm one person. Then, a CSM comes out to tell me that we have no carts. Well, gee, I d...
I am being sent to a different store for a week, 7-330 every day for meat cutter training. Is it like a class? Or am I just going to basically work at another store for a week?
I work in the Deli and I cut my finger over a week ago while trying to prep and fill up the whole BH food area by myself. I am in charge of making food for the day I come in as well as for the following day. Because my managers are constantly "busy" gossiping with each other, about the other deli empl...
I was working in floral and this lady had a bouquet of flowers marked down to $7.49. I saw her reach up and take a two white roses from another bouquet and put them in hers. I walked over to her and said "Hi, how are you? We don't sell single roses" as I reached over and snatched them from her bouq...
When I left, we had ten shopping carts of go-backs. The worst I have ever seen it in Front End since I started nearly nine months ago. I left feeling more disappointed and disillusioned than usual. How the hell could my store let that happen? Ten damn carts. I mentioned them to my Front End Floor at one poi...

I seem to be only getting payed for about 25 sometimes 15 ho...
Saw this job posted on the board today, I had no idea they actually had something like that. Any idea what the job entails and why it needs a department head? I mean...it's cheese?
After a long time we finally got one and she's driving me nuts. Instead of hanging back and seeing how we do things, she's decided everything needs to be exactly like at her old (tiny) Kroger that she came from. She's threw away stuff that we've used for 7+ years yesterday and prompted the other assistan...
