When I did the pre-employment training, they said I could transfer and "have a job waiting for you." It was one of the reasons why working at Kroger appealed to me. That was a year and two months ago. Does anyone know how to initiate this process? How long does it take? I've been a Utility Clerk, cashier, a...

Dear customers: Our last cashier is 8 or 9 pm at most smaller stores. Stop coming in at 1045 pm and bi-tching about how there's no cashier. Hours are cut right now and we're sick of the verbal harassment. So fu-ck off! We're earning a living and we're all pissy right now because of the cut hours. If you wa...

I just had some quick questions to ask and need some clarifications on a few things.... -How do I enter a propane purchase/exchange? -How do I take a check/cash payment? -What is an override and ho...

These incidents happened on two different days during the week. The first one occurred during the busiest day. You know the type. All lanes open and lines backed up. Well, this Karen, while waiting in line, called the store and complained that we don't have enough check lanes. Um, okay. We didn't desi...

It's crazy a.f. here and they want me on Crowd Control. Meaning every 5 people leave, we let 1-2 people in. That is just plain STUPID! yes, I know it's to make people keep distancing, but this crowd control is NOT working. I try and explain it to them and even point out we are so short staffed that they are ca...

The front end managers at my store are still giving out free money to anyone who claims they didn't get their cash (back) from the Uscan. They don't even ask questions. I go up to the ACSM, and state, this customer claims they did not receive their money from the Uscan. ACSM says, go ahead and give it to the...

Move one department into another, creating a big empty space. The doubled-up departments now lack space so that people are almost climbing over each other in order to apply the usual cheerful haste to our demented customer service script. Then the boss tells everyone to stay six feet apart someho...
