I'm an assistant Groc Manager and the head is on vacation, and I am curious as to how relief pay works. Is it similar to retro pay or do they automatically update it in time for the direct deposit? Either way is nice, gonna love that check this week (on pace for 55 hours )

Odd question: Say for example if a drivers license expires "today" is it still valid for alcohol purchases? I ran into this a couple times yesterday. Technically licenses are valid until midnight when the clock rolls over to 12:01 am? Right? I looked up the law and it wasn't much help. It just sad...

So they started me at 7.85 and hour and the next raise was a whopping 10 cents. my union dues were 8.50 and 50 cents for Sunday pay. As of last week when the raise kicked in it went to 9.00 bucks a hour the union dues are now 10.50 and its 1.00 for sundays. So did I roll over to full time or something? I did work clo...

It is a completely different job code-one of the reasons I took the Utility job was *not* to have to bag anymore. I wish the cashiers (at least in my store) would be more respectful of the job we do (it isn't just about "cleaning the bathrooms" as some cashiers think that is all we do.)

I received a letter from the Union to vote on our contract the deadline for them receiving votes was 27th. How long does it usually take for them to release results and are you contacted or updated about results?
