the one time i did i had a stimach virus and was in extreme physical pain but they still wanted me to look for someone to fill my shift and if not come in????? so i said ok sure and never did but i dont think i wasnt written up for it its not like my other coworkers bother to call out either

I am a cashier and I've worked for Kroger for 4 years all as a cashier . In a few months I am supposed to go from job step 80 to 500 and my pay will jump about 2 dollars. However will that raise be my last? Will I end up topping out? What can I do about this? Or how to find ways to raise my pay?

A whole flock of cashiers quit recently leaving me the most senior. I have only been there about two years but there's an extremely fast turnover in the front end at my store. Any little tricks or perks I can get away with with my newfound seniority?

I know this is one of the perks kroger tries to push on customers to get them to come work for us. I saw a similar post at taco bell. First of all, minimum wage is hardly "competitive" and secondly why are they looking for great people to work when they don't have the hours to give out?

The latest tactic is to take a bunch of stuff into one of the handicap bathrooms, stuff everything into your purse or backpack, leave a few items in the brown carryout in the bathroom and leave the store...
