Anyone else work at any of the stores that received bomb threats on Friday night? I work in Eastgate and we didn't even evacuate like the other stores did. No bomb is going to risk us getting our Christmas dollars from customers.

Well I have worked for kroger for 3 years. When I started we had plenty of people in my department. since then is has drastically declined...as of the new year our dept is getting cut an additional 40 hrs. I honestly don't know how they expect us to get all of our work done with a third of the people we had...

Any advice on what the routine is first day or first few days to start at Kroger after interviews done and tests come back? Go in tomorrow. Thanks

It would be nice if our discount worked from division to division. I was in Richmond, Indiana today and bought a couple things in their Kroger store and didn't get my discount. I don't even live that far away from the store either. It's only like an hour away from my store. -_-

lol. I just checked my schedule. I am off the 24th, 25th and 26th!! I have never been off before and after Christmas Day.....ever in the last 6 years. This will be interesting to see if my senior coworkers bump me for those days.

And I couldn't be happier. I am a full time engineering student with a minor in mathematics/computer science. I will now have time to actually focus and study. :D I love the people I work with, but oh man, do I hate customers. I cashier.

Was wondering if anyone on here knows when the company starts the process in vesting into your pension? Example, you get hired in at full time status, does the vesting start from date of hire, or after a certain amount of months? Employed 10 years, thanks!
