hello, i was told in order to move to another dept. i have to write a letter and make three copies, one for myself, the union & store manager (yes, i am in the union -will be at the store for a yr in a few months). is this true? and is it true that the pharmacy is non-union? thanks

I work about 35hrs a week with Sunday pay. With my hourly rate and dues, etc, etc, etc it comes to say $220.00. Well, my last check was $40.00 less than what I normally get. So what is going on? Is it true that part timers have to work a minimum of 1350 hours in 12 months to get their yearly raise in Michigan under local 876 ? That works out to 26 hours per week. Why the hell did my dues increase from 6.50 to 8.00?! I already don't make much 20-30 dollars comes out of my check for taxes + now 8 bucks are coming out for union dues?!
