Had a quick question, which I'll be calling about on Monday, to confirm. But yea, I was just wondering since I got sick Wed night into early Thursday morning when I was supposed to be the opener for the bakery. I texted, called(just about everybody I had a number to), and even had a family member write up a...
Permalink Reply Quote When I started working at Kroger I was extremely happy and ready to achieve. Though the only problem is that they trained me for one day. I am having issues with the voiding of items. I know how to do the quick mistake one. Though at the same time it is the other option of voiding...
hello, i know I am probably way behind the times, but division is just now rolling out elms. I am the dairy and frozen food lead and my dept has taken a huge hit on hours. I was on a 430 splh, and now with elms they have me at 465 dairy and 500 frozen. Is this normal in kroger, if so how do you get everything done? ...
I work as a cashier in the Nashville division. For the most part I don't have too many problems as the front end is probably the only real organized department in the entire store and things go well as long as upper management doesn't mess around with things as they often do. We are like dead last compared...
just heard today about a cashier who everyone liked and always got positive OSAT reviews getting fired for using 1089 (the PLU for coupons and specials) excessively. That was kinda shocking to me. I use the code whenever a coupon doesnt go through and the order matches all the requirements, or honest...
But what would you do, if you overheard 2 co-workers plotting against another worker? Back story: There is a bit of a bossy chick, I work with(younger than myself and most other employees in the bakery). She isn't a lead, back up, head or any of that. But she tends to direct others on what they should be do...

This isn't a serious issue, I guess, but is a anyone else finding that customers will swarm around you, touch you, and take from your cart or hands? I work in Produce, and whenever I'm filling, they see me stocking and will congregate by my cart, and get close to me and touch my shoulder (intentional) to g...
The first number, the number of lanes open, I can understand. That's the number of cashiers signed on to the registers. The rest of the numbers, I don't understand. Like, how do they show how many customers are in the store or will be waiting in line?

I feel sorry for the Marsh Employees but why is the union allowing them to come in and take over our lead positions and bumping our hours? A bunch of us keep calling the union but no responses!! Big bunch of crap!!
So after a couple of years of breaking my back and learning as much as I could as a clerk, I have gotten assistant produce lead recently. Now I'm just like what do I do now. I don't want to end up stuck as a backup or even lead for 5+ years like every other dept heads I've worked with. Can I use my new job title on a...
I got home from work and noticed my pants had a big hole right in the ass. No one told me. That is so embarrassing. Why couldn't someone tell me.I don't even know when they ripped! It's more embarrassing when you find out later and no one has said anything to you. I'd rather know right away so that I can fix i...
Hey had a quick question on putting in requests for days off. My fam is wanting to do a mini trip up to King's Island before the summer is out in August the weekend of the 18th-21st. As I've never requested time off. I don't know if I can request off 4 days back to back under NoPay or not while I'm still part-t...
