Yesterday store managers came down to check temp logs, they asked to talk to the staff that was on duty at the time. I just walked in. They were looking directly at me when they spoke with the whole staff. They were letting us know that a temp check was missed yesterday and that it has happened several tim...
After admittedly an hour long search, I finally found out this one damn song that my store seems to play non-stop. Invisible Touch by Genesis. I wonder if any of you have heard this one at your store?
The ones who make a scene and loudly insult you in front of everyone? I've found that no matter what I say, they use that and throw it right back in my face. If I say "I'm sorry" they give me another insult.
I went and changed banks and updated my info for direct deposit and looking at my online paystub right under 'current' next to ach net checking it says 0.00 Am I getting a paper check now until it updates itself? Or is it going to the other bank in the mean time?
I'm a new cashier and I just learned about this scan right or rite(?) policy from some customer who saw the price was on an item they were buying and wanted me to apply the policy for them.
A couple days ago, i was in a store quite a ways from where i live, and it got me thinking: Why is there such a huge difference in Kroger stores, across the same division? I mean, the store i came from is a moderate size store, not a marketplace, but i can understand since i live in a smaller town. The store i w...

I'm wondering why I've been scheduled to be on Uscan, for pretty much the whole week. This past week, and the next week, I'm on Uscan. All I did was just ask one of the CSM's if I could be trained to be on Uscan, then suddenly, I was shoved into it. Most of the other cashiers, told me they hate being on Uscan. T...
I have been trying not to post this for about a week now, but can't hold it in. For the last 2 weeks I have closed by myself. Some days it has just been the last hour or the last 2 1/2 hours, but I'm still doing what the people before me should be doing before I can do my job. I have had to work over time to get as much...
I work here and I have this song stuck in my head and all I can recall is (this is silly, I know) "doo do doo, doo do doo, I wonder where you are" or maybe he says who you are, or sometimes I think he says "I wanna take you home" it's killing me. Please help. Song gives me yo la tengo vibes but other than that scramb...

Now the new manager made a rule they could only be taken to the receiving. It seems the receiving clerk does not have time for th...

Hello to the Original poster of that thread. Let me kindly explain why SOME people are not happy about typing in their debit card PIN, or don't seem to know what it is.I have had a debit card through my bank (US Bank, based in Cincinnati) for about 20 years or so. For most of that time, although it is "techni...
Anyone remember the days when you could walk up to the hot foods side of the deli and not know what to expect? Food like meat loaf, roast beef, pizza, lasagna, meatball subs... nothing terrible healthy, mind you, but if you wanted to treat yourself now and again and just have a flavorful, filling lunch,...
One of my favorite things to do since we have a large homeless population that steals our carts to put their stuff into, is to go up to them and tell them they have stolen property as I am part owner of that cart be cause I am a shareholder. I dump all their stuff out and take the cart. I always notify the LAPD t...
