If the new person gets more hours than me, I'll be throwing the biggest fit ever. My hours got cut way down because we have some body new, but if she gets more hours I'll throw as big if not a bigger fit as the ones who worked there longer than me did when I ended up with over time and they didn't!!!!
A csm is harassing employees and if she doesn't stop I will make damn sure she regrets ever messing with the employees. I will turn her in ever chance I get. I will have corporate watching her as and her entire store like a hawk.
I began working for Kroger as a cashier on Apr 11 2017. Since then I have been trained in SCO( for about 2 weeks in July) and now I have been trained in customer service for about a week. In total I have been with the company for 3 months and would like to know if it's possible to be evaluated sooner than usual s...
Is it worth leaving full time front end/cashier/supervisor to go into Clicklist? we are going to get it soon and the managers are eyeing me to be a lead. Any difference in pay and stress?
I do not want to turn this thread into a bash fest but let's have an open and honest discussion revisited about minority customers. I was hired almost five years ago and very few came into the store. Now with more of them in the area, incidents of shoplifting, harassment of cashiers and customer service...
Am sick, but don't need a doctor, because I have been to one before and got a prescription, but every once and awhile am too sick to work and need to stay home. Do I have to have a doctors note for just one day? I am with ufcw 1000.
So most people tend to hate the SCO.. My question is, for your store, is there one person in there the whole time, or are there multiple people? For my store, we tend to just switch out with who comes in after us, or management will switch us out with a CC if it gets too busy to handle.
I've been working for Kroger more than a year and I feel like I am always a target. First it was when I called in one day for my grandmother's funeral, my store manager said no you can't because it's a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) but when I got there I was just bagging folks **** , mind you my probation per...
I am trying to get out of working Ripper shift (Its horrible and I dont get enough sleep). My Store Director always asks for proof of school and I show him. Recently I updated my eschedule to the following: Mon-Wed (unavailable), Thursday 2pm-12am, and FridaySaturdaySunday (8am-9pm). Problem is th...
Kroger is not an equal opportunity employer they so claim to be.You will go far in the company if you are a) male b) a favorite or c) Caucasian.Kroger is gender bias to a high degree.Don't believe me?Ask my 7+ years of experience with the company where they refused to work with me because of my disabi...
I needed some days off for my Dad's wedding. Six to be exact. I asked for all of them to be 'off with no pay' and all were approved. i look at my paycheck today... It says I've used a personal holiday... Now, first thing I'm thinking is that I screwed up somewhere and accidentally put in for payed holiday...
Our store mgr got back from a meeting he and others spent the week at and one of the things they talked about was dropping the Union. Has anyone else heard about this? I know our union kinda sucks but i would be more scared not having one at all and being walked all over by managment.
How most interactions with any male over 50 go: Me: Hi how are you today? Them: *no response * Me: Did you find everything alright? Them: I can't find a damn thing in this store me: I'm sorry about that sir. Was there anything in particular you were looking for? them: *chuckles* gah I don't know. lots of t...
Not all items are appropriate for this-sometimes it is much better to fill the bag up and let it go. Why all this emphasis about "build a wall" bagging all of a sudden?!? It's really being pushed in my store-tips on how to deal with it?
