Is it 32 hours on average of 12 weeks? I think it is in my Delta district. I hope I'm about to get full time! My hours these past 12 weeks are 39.50 +38.25 + 33 + 29.75 + 33.50 + 33 + 34 + 34.50 + 36.50 + 38.75 + 20 + 23.50 + 28.50 = 389.75 ÷ 12 = 32.47 is this how they average hours?
So how will they get "Coordinators" to move across county to staff a New District? $$$ We need to eliminate waste to better serve our customers? So ADD 750k+ in salaries back that were just eliminated 3-4 months ago? How will we retain associates that will be asked to travel 1 hour+ to stores across town...
Apparently we're suppose to mark off each item as we break it out. Do they really think that I'm that stupid that I can't remember what I just broke out 5 seconds ago? The guy asked, "How do you know it was done then?" My reply was, "Well, you see the bread out there, don't you? It didn't just magically a...
I decided to check my pay stub online turns out I'm getting paid more than I expected. I only had one six hour shift last week. I clocked out when I was supposed to. I'm assuming I should bring this to the attention of the manager or whoever does payroll. Has anyone else experienced this ?
Kroger with top heavy management adds a new district close to GO cause someone's brother in law probably needed a new 6 figure job. But good news is they will most likely be asking employees to do 18 hours of work a day instead of the 12 they were asking for so it won't hit the bottom line. Or if it does and s...
For the past couple of weeks, the File Main. head has been training me because their newly hired backup quit. One day, a manager pulled me aside and told me to learn as much as I could because the head was moving to receiving and that it would be a full time position. After that convo, another manager asked...
Was it really necessary for them to send 5 cases of La Brea French Baguettes for freaking Bastille Day?? Like anyone in the city I work in is going to give a crap about Bastille Day, or even know how to spell it for that matter? A 2 day flash sale is NOT going to help me get rid of 5 freaking cases of them when my s...
Our store has been going through this huge remodel for a year and a half to turn us into a marketplace. Of course they are way over budget and way behind schedule with the whole thing, the original grand opening date was supposed to be May of this year. The new deli department has been built and they are u...
Why is it that most managers do NOT understand what a FRESH produce department looks like? They will of course come "inspect" the department everyday, go into the backroom and gripe and complain about a few things not being dated, or some items on the salads/fresh kitchen/etc. not being "full enough...
So they have me on a couple of 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. hours of late and typically nothing too new there that I can't handle. However, I just discovered the other day and I don't know if this has always been the rule or not. Or just something they came up with for the pie challenge. But instead of marking down the PS p...
I'm guessing it's true. I was searching for Catalina tape when i came a box of aprons, but i noticed they weren't division colors. I opened the box up to reveal that they where promotional aprons for "Taste Of Italy". I have a picture of them but i can figure out how to post it onto the forum.
I am so tired of being treated like **** by other employees/team members. Team work keeps getting expressed to me but How can there be team work when you stand alone, while the others treat you like ****, there is not team. I got into work today. Nothing got documented until I said something then it was al...
Do not understand why we can't have water at registers as long as it is in a secure bottle...understand about sodas and food...but water...it gets very warm up front and we need to stay hydrate.
