I closed the last hour by myself again tonight, because of call ins. I had everything in my head that needed to be done. I clocked out and got all the way home. I then realized I forgot to get the spoons from the olive buffet and cover the olives. I'm the biggest complainer when it comes to food safety and the...
An evil man is now here. Those who work fear and loathe him. Store soul is now dead. We miss our old boss. People loved his kind and nice ways. Our store, no longer fun. You will see no smile. On his hateful, angry, mean face. Now the store will rebel.
I really hate the stickers that are used for mark downs especially the ones in Bakery because they are always half faded and never properly scan and i end up having to hand type in the codes. Or sometimes someone will "forget" to put the stickers over the bar code, there was some sort of cereal from health...
I don't know why people think they have the permission to do this or think that is actually taking charge. When someone gets in my face, that makes me mad. All I'm hearing is myself saying "YOU ARE SO GLAD I'M AT WORK RIGHT NOW!" I hear nothing you are saying to me.
Customer said I rang up something twice, and asked me to review the order before they pay. I told them I don't think I scanned anything twice. But, I turned the screen to show them, and then they touched it... which I'm now completely regretting doing as that was obviously a bad idea. I didn't expect them...
There's an employee in the grocery department who refuses to do anything and has been telling management he wasn't gonna pull his weight when he works and it's causing tension between other employees? Can he be moved or is there anything you can do to move him to a different department?
We have an issue with excessive paging in our store. Even if the person sees the other person within a few feet of them they still page to listen to themselves over the intercom. How can we cut down on this in our store?

Is there a way to transfer departments when there's no opening posted for another department? I really am sick of the department I'm in. I've been there for 15 years and I'm on the verge of quitting. Instead of finding a new job and starting over, I thought maybe I could transfer and have a fresh start in t...
It's a good thing I have good doctors who listen to me. Because of the Union you have to go through all these loops just to get time off for medical reasons and then come back to work. You can't go back to work with restrictions from your doctor. That's crazy! So what some will have to do the heavy lifting ins...
The location I work at wants the check out process to be as efficient as possible, even when there are no customers waiting behind the customer we are currently assisting. Every cashier is supposed to reach a goal that someone in Senior Management came up with. And that Senior Management employee wan...
