this is my first and probably my last post. i've worked in clicklist as an attendant (sometimes i select), which, if you didn't know, involves being outside much of the day: we pick groceries for customers who place their orders online and we deliver them to their car in the parking lot and load them. up...
There is a person in my department that does as little as possible. When they do do something they make a mess and don't clean it up. Messes bother me. We all have to take the food safety test before we are hired. We all know about cross contamination. This person use to be a Lead but gave that up and is now...
Anonymous: I love my job. Working for this company "D i e r b e r g s" is like night and day from working for Gerbes/Kroger. D i e r b e r g s is this a "High End" privately owned grocery store chain. From day one every single manager 3 or 4 came up to all of us in orientation and introduced themselves and said h...
Our new employee has step into a department full of judgement and people who want to take charge. We only have one Lead and others are claiming to be that Lead. S/he isn't going to be trained properly by people who don't do their job right or at all. S/he is either a little slow or very nervous and others are...
What gets to me is someone who can talk a lot of sh.. about others, insult people left and right, but the minute the tables turn they say "That's makes me mad, shut up. You need to watch what you say to others."
Okay, ive been working here at my store for nearly 2 years now. I always have to beg for hours; though I was hired for at LEAST 32 a week. When they give me short days, they ask or near beg me (if we are short staffed) to stay a full 8. I do in most cases, cause heck; im a 23 year old and I can use the cash to LIVE, righ...
Think about it, Kroger lets the UFCW slip into all their stores with no union-busting tactics used like Walmart does. The UFCW lets Kroger stand by, do whatever the f**k they want to the employees, and everyone is opted in, even at minimum wage, to pay the 10 dollars or whatever a week to them. The UFCW ge...
No provision for sick days No competitive $10/hr wage No profit sharing No 1 hour lunch provision if you work an 8 hour day (like most companies) No authorisation for managers to give merit increases
I don't get why anyone would want to be fired. That would look horrible on your resume, especially if the job you apply for were to call the company that fired you. I would rather give my two weeks notice and quit, than get fired. This person that works in my department hates me so much that they call in ever...
So I've been a clerk for about 2 years and I have recently finished college and am looking for higher up fulltime work. Bigger stores, like the one I am from, have an in-house HR person. How do you become that person? These positions never show up on the company's website. While I'm asking, my degree isn'...
Just started working as a cashier, for a month now. How long will it be before they start training me to be working on the self checkout? Or will that never happen?
Here is a list of things I hear all the time or examples of things that happen often. *Keep my cold stuff together* *If it doesn't scan it must be free right? huh huh huh" *shoves incorrect amount of money in your face* *looks at price* *its never been this expensive before* *Why the *&^%$ can't you s...

They said "So, you aren't going to serve us?" Writing tit all down. I said "What is you you would like?" They said "What's your name?" I told them. They...
