Used to get 36, even 40 hours. Now next week I'm down to 32. I've only been here a couple months. Is this normal? So should I look forward to be cut down to 20 hours?!
i work at a Krogers in wv were all managers and department heads are cowards that don't do a damn thing to the lazy call off people but us hard working never call off people are called lazy told they will be fired all the time
I have been left to close the department by myself for the 6th or 7th time in the last couple months, because of call ins and others are too busy or too tired to show up or work longer. Isn't it the Lead/Department Heads job to replace that person so that they don't leave their team stranded? I'm one person a...
Yesterday we were told we were gonna have some 'big wigs' come in. So today I knew immediately when opening the store that we had to get everything on the front end in order. I mean I was busting my ass for 2+ hours sorting reshop, cleaning, I also had to keep my eye on our famous shop lifter, all the while do...
Anyone who knows how to do CAO, please post to this with detailed instructions. Or if you can make a video of it, then do so and post the link. I think this would be a great thing to have on this website for us Kroger employees. Tips, Organized Instructables, how to do a better job in certain departments, et...
Just for me to vent: Grumpy old fart comes into my checklane with a cart full of stuff. I greet him and start scanning, and ask him how his day was. We have the new setup where the cashier unloads the cart, scans it, and sends it down the conveyor to a bagging area. Most customers are nice enough to bag for you...
Hello, I wanted to know what I will be doing on my first day at Krogers tomorrow and where should I report to or go to after I clock in. I'll be in clicklist. I'm really nervous.

Unscientific but reaction-based upon surprising few comments and very little negative reaction I think new contract wins by a landslide in 2 weeks. I am not proposing this as it has many faults, just shocked how little reaction on this board. Perhaps our reading rate speed of our employees is much s...
Customers who shop at the location I work at complain about unsafe drivers in the parking lot. Is there anything Kroger can really do about this? I ask this because our customers want Kroger to do something about this.
I work in the bakery dept and we close at 9pm. We got a phone call around 9:30pm. My dept manager said to not answer it since we are closed but someone from the front end pages us to answer it. I told her we were closed and she started going and on about how since someone is in the dept someone needs to answer it....
The new proposed contract is at the ufcw1996 website. While disappointed a union can't secure a new starting wage of $10 that nonunion Walmart has been at since February 2016, and no lump sum retro payment penalty paid to union members by Kroger for not having the new agreement in place on March 19 when...
