I have a mild disability that also includes a mental disability to a mild degree.I have an elderly customer who is rude, egotistic, verbally harassive, tries to steal, takes advantage of me, gives me no respect and if she doesn't get her way she mouths off to the managers. I'm in my thirties but due to a...
I was scheduled to work 3 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. the other day. But do to one of our lovely behind the counter inspections and some higher ups from corporate were coming through as well. Hey everybody, Had some quick questions and most likely should probably just ask one of my store managers whenever I can pin them down. But was wondering, if any one knew when it comes down to getting full-time, I know folks with more seniority get it first, right. But, how is seniority defined per se. I...
I no longer work for the company so my people.me doesn't work. On the home page there is an address book to look up employees. Can somebody check for me where someone works?
Hillary has a 100% of winning. I know this because I've done extensive calculations and predictions by using certain algorithm that incorporate the use of the 4th law of astrology.
I have a team member that will close machines down and pull items 2-3 hours before closing. Just so that s/he can clean things up and sit on his/her butt or go chat with other employees the last hour. I don't start closing anything up til about 30 min before closing. That team member will tell customers we...
Hi. In the handbook it says that associates are not allowed to check themselves out when buying something. I was wondering if associates are allowed to use u-scan or a self checkout lane?
When I was working for the big K our floor cleaner would come in and clean the floors usually between 9 and 10 p.m. Well since my current job is close to my old store I do my grocery shopping there. I tend to do my shopping around 6 or 7 in the evening and I've noticed that the floor guy is there at this time whi...
When I was working overnight there was a guy who appeared to be on drugs. He was so slow at stocking they finally put him on cardboard duty. All he did was wheel a basket around and collect cardboard from the isles overnight and make bales. Once he left in the morning with the entire backroom filled with ca...
Could a Dept. Head ever consider it a no call, no show if they call an employee on their day off to come in and cover for someone and they don't hear back from them? As far as I know, this hasn't happened at my store thus far. But I was just curious if it is a thing that could ever happen. As it does seem that we(in...
Hello, first time ranter. We have an inspection this week, and everyone in the store is going nuts over it. However the managers, even though I try my best to do what they want me to do. They just say move, I'll do it. I'm very capable of doing the work I'm hired to do. There is a huge lack of communication b...
Serious question, folks. I'm too shy to ask my hr coordinator about the subject and too lazy to go through the employer handbook to obtain such information lmao. So I work in the front-end as a cashier and I have a huge crush on a backup manager in my department. He has a crush on me back, we're both the same...

Okay so this may be a dumb question, but tomorrow is my first day at Kroger, and I'm not sure how I will know what to do. Will someone be there to tell me or should I just hop onto a register? Should I go and get a member of management? Also I was never taught how to use the phone if I have a problem, how do I use it...
What can you be written up for? Who is able to write you up? Are you to be informed if you've been written up? Is managers allowed to inform other employees about your write ups and/or other work performance? I'm asking not because it has happened to me, but because another member has and wasn't informed...
I put in my two week notice over a month ago, and I've been job searching ever since. I must've put out over 30 applications, with no callbacks at all. What kind of jobs should I be applying for as a minor with 10 months of kroger experience?
