How long does it take for someone to get full time hours? Do you need to work full time to get Medical Insurance? Does Kroger provide Medical Insurance? I always thought, if you show you're willing to work, want the hours, learn fast, and do your job well you got the hours. No one has spoken to me about full...
Ding dong! Hello Kroger Associates! It's friendly and fresh time! Ding dong! Hello Kroger Associates! It's friendly and fresh time! What moron thought it would be a genius idea to chime this ridiculous announcement every single hour? Every time that I have to hear this, I shrivel up and die inside....
Hi, long time lurker, first ish time posting I think? Anyway, we recently had techs into our stores to check the systems and update the pin pads. Ever since, certain cards (haven't tried to find the common link here, because it happens far too often) with the chip make the pinpad stop working. The firs...

Should a store manager ever tell a bakery department to refuse orders? I've been told to refuse orders if we get "too many" since we're spending "too much time on orders" and then we have holes on the shelves. I don't mean like 10 orders a day, i mean like anything over 3-4 she says is too many. Keep in mind t...

Last month we were told that our items per minute score needs to be 20 for a non-express register. I was able to reach that goal. I was also able to go above that goal and scan 22 items per minute. Physically that is the best I can do. But as of today one of the Senior Managers wants our items per minute score to...
Does anybody know what's going on with our W2s? I was told they were lost? If so is kroger going to let it's employees know anything or let us know how they are going to protect our identities from being stolen if they are out there in the hands of the wrong person.
I'm a super hard worker, and I bust my ass for my store (by my own choice) -- I genuinely enjoy working in my store's dairy department. Yeah, yogurt is annoying, but besides that, it's really not that bad. Good co-workers there too. I condition the entire department before my shift is done, every singl...
