Greetings everyone!I was told that a background check is in process. I will be in Home Goods as planed at my interview discussion. But no one has returned my calls for information about the employment progression. I have gotten calls from other locations in the local area for interview. Any ideas as t...
In our division they gave employees 1,000 fuel points this past week. Random customers would get 500 fuel points. Cue the bitching on Krogers facebook. "The dumb teenage cashier shouldn't get 1,000 if i can't even get 500!! i was a loyal customer for 50 years i'm no longer shopping here!!!"...
I work overnight grocery clerk and when I got hired I told my then co-manager I couldn't work frozen because the cold hurts my hands due to arthritis and whatnot and all was well. Me and my grocery manager got into an argument last week and now he's scheduling me in frozen (I think permanently) and I told...
I'm giving my two weeks notice. Yea!!! I need to find out if I have any vacation time, change my availability for less hours, call in sick a few days etc. You know they are going to try to screw me. If I give two weeks notice they will probably say I'm not eligible for rehire for some reason, make it my fau...
I was wondering about this because I am currently full time. I recently had some complications in my home life and had to take a couple of weeks less than 40 hours. How many weeks does it take for me to lose my full time status???
I submitted a request 3 weeks ago to change my availability for college and the thing was pending this entire time. Just got my schedule and I am scheduled to work one of the days I can't. Management was acting like all I had to do was submit a request into e-schedule, but they never even checked it. I now ha...
I worked at Fred Meyer for two months. I lost my job 4 months ago. My manager told me once that I had to go online to request my W2. I spoke to a friend recently that works there. She said just wait for it to come in the mail. She has already gotten hers and I'm still waiting. I tried logging in w2express and some...
I worked for Kroger 2013 to early 2014 and I'm trying to do my taxes and claim union dues. I'm looking for past paystubs. I remember my EUID but not my password for greatpeople.me. How do I reset the password?
My dept head and one of our co-managers want me to be our meat dept backup when our manager is on vacation next week. I know how to cut and how to order but thats the extent of my know-how. We have a key-retailing check coming monday. I'm stressing over this. I've said many times I don't think I'm ready but th...
So I have an idiot CSM who hides hours. She schedules people as file clerks but they have never did the job before. She schedules baggers as cashiers and vice versa. She schedule other people in the front end to admin support. All of these people are just regular cashiers and baggers. Can she get in troub...
Here's the situation real fast. Im an overnight grocery employee and my department head is a fist full of sociopath. My schedule was set a certain way for this week. She didn't like it when she came in on Monday morning, so she altered two days of my schedule to her liking, and it's more than an inconvenie...
I quit fred meyer 9 months ago, worked there since April 2013. I requested my w2 online last year. Will they send me my w2 through mail sonce I no longer work there?
I work in the meat/seafood dept. A few days ago, a customer managed to tear open a bag of flour or sugar, and had it spill from aisle 2, across the store, infront of the meat department, all the way to aisle 10 or something. I was in the cooler, cleaning the grinder, and my coworker was helping customers...
So question: how many days in a row can someone be scheduled to work between days off? This week, I'm working 5 days (which is okay, even if they're all short shifts), but I've heard of someone getting scheduled for 9 straight days...kinda hard to schedule anything with something like that.
If some one on probation accidentally does a no call no show will they be fired. It was an honest mistake got there days off mixed up. Took Monday when it should have been tuesday. Went back to work and was told they were suspended for 4 days. Is that immediate termination?
About two or three weeks ago, I got my vacation request form. It has 6 lines (#1 week beginning, #2 week beginning, etc) listed. I already filled out week #1 for vacation in July. Should I only take one vacation or should I put in a request for more?
