I am a bigger person and got hired 8 weeks ago and was given a shirt 2 sizes to small with the promise of a bigger one. Week after week it has not come in but I have dealt with it by wearing the given apron and a jacket. Seems any time I ask anything though I get wrong answers or told to ask so and so who doesn't know...
Hello everyone, Ok, how do I find out the name of whoever it is that insures us for dental? I've been with a little Kroger over two years now, I have health, I have vision, all have cards to show... but none for dental. I recently got a letter in the mail concerning dental privacy or something, I have no clue...
Kroger sucks when I started here I loved it. Now I can barely make myself go to work. If they appreciated what you did everyday it would be nice. There just blinded by dollar signs. Wake up kroger most of the people working for you would leave if offered a similar job. Oh and schedule yes because the p...
Hey everyone. I've missed my employee manual, so I don't know where I can find the answer to this. So I'm a university student and I occasionally have to do certain events that don't match my availability schedule. I know how to request days off, but is there a limit to how often you can do this in a year o...
How does your store handle the tills? Ours are rarely counted. If they have time they will count the till before you start your shift. They never count it when you leave. They only count the bills, not the change. I was told by the comanager that I would be responsible for any shortage of my till. ...

So long story short, I was asked to join the CC by our NEW store co-manager, then put in charge of the CC Lead. I hardly know what the CC is but no one wanted it. It appeared to be some hangout and giggles club once a month. After the first meeting, our co-manager is asking me about the agenda, and all this in...
New to this forum (hi folks. ;) ). I'm a cashier at Kroger (way long enough to know better). Our Kroger is located in a tourist city. Today I had an asinine/idiotic conversation with a woman who works in customer service. A customer had asked for a new Kroger card. Since I had none at my register, I went to c...
I am an employee of Kroger in a non right-to-work state. I started as a courtesy clerk and after 2 or three months my manager switched me to a meat clerk. When I switched departments, I had to switch unions as well as obviously courtesy clerking would be a different department than handling meat.
Here i...
So I've been noticing competitors encroaching on Kroger's territory lately... kind of a LOT, actually. WinCo, Aldi's... even the Wal-Mart Neighborhood stores have been sprouting up. And Kroger is reaching for a 5% increase in sales. Don't see that happening when the competitors offer lower pric...
Hello, I'm thinking about becoming a co-manager but I heard 50-60 hours is the norm of working per week. How often on average for co-managers will hours go above 50 hours?
