Does it really matter? I had a customer wanting one for his beer. I didn't have any at my drawer and I told him just keep the receipt, it doesn't matter. He practically threw a fit, demanding that he get one. He went to all the other cashiers, one by one, until he got one.

Do your managers print and make the comments available to anyone to read? Do you have any idea if they have the ability to 'censor' some...
