Do meat clerks have to order? I work packeged meat every day and do all the ordering for frozen meat and packeged meat. I also do the cap review for the fresh sausage and work all back stock for packeged meat and frozen. I do all of this and didn't get a raise and I am not a manager! Is this right.

Who came up withe this idiotic idea? I work in the bakery department, but I'm sure it's the same in all the other departments. We are continuously filling cases and tables from 6 AM until the last person leaves at 9 PM, and yet they want everyone to stop what they're doing every two hours starting at 8 AM...

In regards to Kroger subsidaries, such as Fred Myers, etc. Do they share the same HR and HR computer system? That is, if you crossed one, have you crossed them all? Or are they separate entities with their own HR and employment record system?

My store recently put signs on the doors, saying Shoes and Shirts Required. I know the weather is getting warmer, but seriously, who goes into public places barefoot? The shirtless thing is a whole other ball of icky, since most guys who go around shirtless are not exactly ripped.
