In our company (obviously Kroger ha), they act like there is no favoritism or that they don't prefer certain people over some. But I'm sorry- I think this is ridiculous. I'm not trying to slander any of my coworkers, i simply want you all to know that the problem of favoritism and shrugging off requests...

This is the first forum I found dedicated to Kroger. I wasn't exactly looking for people who HATE it but the advice you provide me with will help either way! I have been with the company for a year now. I started in May 09. I am working for the King Soopers chain in Colorado. I work on night crew. The question...

Our scan rate is down so we no longer have bagwells on the casher's side of the counter. The problem; when we dont have a bagger, we must step over to the end of the counter to bag the customers goods. We get blocked in by the customers in the lane behind us. I think this is nothing but a stupid attempt to fix a s...

i cannot remember where i saw this, but i know i read somewhere that some stores have greeters. How would a person go about applying for this position? would their pay/benefits be the same as a regular employee (non-bagger) or do the hours come from the front end/baggers?

Hey, the associate survey is coming out Monday, the 30th! Isn't that great? It will be my way of telling Division Management just how inclusive, respectful, and how GREAT they truly are! And in doing so, they will get a bigger bonus! Hooray for Management!

Is there any place I can get the book online? I believe I was wrongfully terminated by the HR manager because I was getting close to retirement after 15 years with the company and called and asked about it but the HR manager is refusing to send me a copy.

The lead position in my department has come open and my store manager has a habit of bending the protocol a bit and handing out positions in house instead of posting them area/zone(?) wide like they're supposed to.
